Course Curriculum Review

"I opted for Statistics since I wanted to learn a practical approach but I feel that it's very theoretical only. There's not much focus on the recent trends such as data mining, analytics, etc. I feel that my course hasn't provided me with a platform for holistic development."

Fees Review

"The fee structure is feasible only. But if you compare LSR to other Delhi University colleges, then it's a lot. Double or triple for some. But otherwise, the fees is pretty reasonably only compared to what we used to pay in school. The fees for my course is slightly higher than for other courses."   Read More

Course Curriculum -

It is an annual system and not a semester system. The curriculum is rigorous and relevant. It includes all the changes that take place. Includes thorough research and discussion regarding different education policies and education curriculum. It mainly focuses on CBSE, although a comparison between different curriculums would add a lot of value.

Fees -

Compared to any private college offering the same course, Lady Shri Ram College for Women is very reasonable when it comes to the fee structure. Also, for people belonging to the Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Disabilities, etc., the college offers extra concessions.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum of B.Com Honours is perfectly suitable for anyone wishing to pursue M.Com or CA in the future. The first semester subjects are Business Law, Financial Accounting, an Ability Enhancement Credit Course, and a Generic Elective. AECC is either EVS or Communication English, depending on the semester.

Number 1 college

Fees -

Fees structure is not so much expensive as far as I know about my course..my fees are around 12thousand for a year. In which we have to pay through Punjab national bank.

Course Curriculum -

My course was political science honors. In this course, the facilities are too good very helpful in nature at any time. they are really good counselors and political science is the best subject which I choose. the seminars and fest for the department which are really helpful for students.

Proud to be ELSA!

Fees -

LSR under Delhi University is a Government College. Fees during my time were around 11 thousand per year which is very less compared to other private colleges. I personally feel that fee structure in LSR is very much feasible. LSR also provides scholarship options to students with the economically weaker background.

Course Curriculum -

Since I am from 2016 batch when FYUP (four-year undergraduate program) was introduced in its first year, subjects were very general and interesting. Evaluation of those subjects was on the basis of presentations and creativity. And the teachers were brilliant too! During my second year, FYUP was scrapped and our entire curriculum changed. Then most of the subjects were hard-core economics based.

Magic of LSR

Fees -

The fees structure is very less. My yearly fees were around 16k. It may be high compared to other colleges of DU but the facilities offered are totally worth the money. And when compared to other private colleges, it is a very small amount It is feasible.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is decided by DU. It is mostly theoretical yet the teachers try to make it interesting by helping us right research papers, encouraging students in research. Usually, all electives are offered and the students have the liberty to make their choice.

Nice. Learnt a lot.

Fees -

Being a government institute, it is quite affordable. The fee varies within a range of 15,000-30,000 a year. It basically depends on the course you’ve opted for. Also, there is a variation in the fee structure each year for a particular course. Its much cheaper than those private institutes.

Course Curriculum -

As I mentioned earlier, the course was comprehensive. It indeed made me socially aware. The course starts with the basics and then in a later stage detailed concepts of English Grammar as well as Literature is introduced. The course curriculum is so easy that anyone could get through it. Along the way, the teachers here had been very supportive and believe in practical learning. We had performed dramas, plays and participated in many debating competings across Delhi-NCR. This was all possible due to our teachers help. Yes, there are research initiatives taken by the institute, it is basically the student’s choice to do it or not.

Fees -

As it is a government college, so the fee structure is pretty affordable ,i am paying 15,000 rupees a year as my fees ,this fees include examination fees, tuition fees etc. The fees paid are worth as students are provided high class education with well experienced interactive faculties..

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum provided by college is very good, classroom becomes pretty enjoyable as faculties always prefer interactive learning in classroom also more focus is given on practical learning and hands on activities ,the college had also taken many research initiatives in past also it's focusing on many research initiative in future.
