Great

Fees -

The fee structure is feasible and they provide enough time to pay the fee. They have an indoor bank office for deposits. It ranges around 30000 for a Semester which is pretty much the trend in and around Chennai.

Course Curriculum -

The curriculum is actually really perfect. Good set of subjects that go along well. We have Two Internal Assessments and a final Exam for every Semester. A maximum of 5 papers per semester. We also had projects and internships.

MOP Vaishnav, a whirlwind of an experience.

Fees -

Our fee structure is 45,000/- INR per semester I believe this is a reasonable amount we pay, for the course and the kind of opportunities being provided to us. At the end of the day we shell out about 3 Lacs for a 3 year course, which in comparison to other colleges and services provided and the location is definitely worth it.

Course Curriculum -

I believe the course curriculum is up to date. And is equally oriented towards research and also creativity. In the first year, we had subjects like: Introduction To Electronic Media, Audiography-where we were taught the nuances of sound, understanding visual media-where we were taught the basics of drawing and design. We also had 3 elective papers, being: Personal Effectiveness Program- while was a life skill program and Hindi and English. In the second semester, we had Radio Production in which we had to produce our own radio program for our college radio station, 2D Graphics- where we were taught softwares such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. In the subject called basics of prod...

It gave me an added advantage for i did not have to study to absolutely opposite topics. I could simultaneously prepare for my CAT, XAT and GMAT , not only that but even in my period with Symbiosis, i could correlate with every subject to a certain extent.

It was on the higher side as it was a private college compared to other colleges. Since there was more lab work and practicals this added on to this fees. Fees had to be paid per year and we had an option of 2 instalments.

Course Curriculum -

Very creative only batch which was offered a dual degree. Clinical nutrition, food service management, basic journalism, basic psychology we had to choose, cake architecture etc.

Fee structure was very feasible for me. It was around 8000 per semester. However, there was a minimum deposit amount that we had to pay. However, there were several endowments for the deserving candidates which were offered by the Vaishnav community. However, for courses such as Visual Communication & Electronic Communication, The fee structure is different and is believed to be expensive. The most important part of the campus is the peer group and the kind of co-learning they bring about to the whole process of learning.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is elaborate. It ranges from English literature, Business Communication, Radiography, Audiography, alternate elective in terms of Banking, Computing, computer coding, graphic designing, PR, Corporate Communication etc.

"Great"

Our college is located in a prime location which makes it easily accessible. It has all amenities inside the college. Very friendly staff and good curriculum. We aren't allowed to even take our phones out. So only that is a major negative. We have an amazing canteen. MOP Bazaar is the best thing to bring out the Entrepreneur in you.

"MOP Vaishnav, a whirlwind of an experience."

Our college management is most definitely one of the most open minded and most cooperative of lot. Apart from the fact that almost everyone in the college, starting from the faculties to the principal are extremely approachable, they also are extremely efficient. By doing so, not only are they building role models for coming generation, but also are teaching students what an ideal faculty should be like. I have no complains regarding my college, except for the fact that if they let the students use the lift, atleast of just the students in the fifth floor, we would reach our classes faster and not be so exhausted. I came into this college slightly disappointed considering I came from a coed ...
