IFIM, Bangalore offers a full-time PGDM program equivalent to MBA in various specializations along with an Executive PGDM course. These courses are offered to regular and working professionals under full-time as well as part-time modes. The minimum eligibility to apply for the program is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

The duration of PGDM course and EPGDM course offered by IFIM Business school is 2 years and 15 Months respectively. 

Admission to PGDM course is done on the basis of XAT/ CAT/ GMAT score. In the case of Executive PGDM, merit in the qualifying examination will be considered for admission. Final admission to the course is granted on the basis of performance of the shortlisted candidates in essay writing and personal interview round.

IFIM Bangalore PGDM Selection Process:

First of all, the candidates have to qualify in any one of CAT/ XAT or GMAT entrance test. Final selection is based on different components introduced by IFIM.

1. Innovation Potential Test (IPT): A 30 minutes’ class test where shortlisted candidates have to showcase their innovation potential by answering MCQs along with descriptive questions.
2. Group Exercise (GE): Group activities for the duration of 30 minutes where candidates are accessed on the basis of their approach towards an appropriate solution to a given problem.
3. Personal Interview (PI): A personal interview for 30 minutes in order to identify whether a candidate is a value fit or not. This round consists of total of 3 panellists.
4. Academic Record: Evaluation of candidate’s consistency in academics with respect to percentage of marks starting from class X.
5. Work Experience (if any): Candidates with prior relevant work experience will be given an advantage at the time of final selection.

IFIM Bangalore PGDM Application Process 2020

Application form for IFIM B School can be filled online by following the below-listed steps:

1. Visit the official website of IFIM Bangalore and click on ‘New User Registration’.
2. Fill the requested details and click on ‘Save & Continue’.
3. After registration, you will receive an e-mail regarding your User ID and Password.
4. Login by using your ID and Password followed by the payment of application fee (INR 2000).
5. Fill other details like Education Details, Employment History etc. and click on the ‘Submit’ button after previewing the application.

Payment of Application Fee:

Application fee of INR 2000 can be paid through one of the four available payment methods.

1. Payment through Credit/ Debit Card
2. Payment through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “ Centre for Developmental Education” Payable at Bangalore.

In the case of payment through DD, take the printout of duly filled form and send it to the institute’s address along with attested marks sheets and valid scorecards.

IFIM, Bangalore offers Ph.D. program in Management in recognition with VTU. Admission to Ph.D. is based on Research Aptitude Test conducted by the VTU followed by an interview round.

Students applying for the scholarship should have at least a First Class or equivalent score in the UG Degree examination. Candidates must possess a minimum 75% aggregate in 10th and 10+2 and he/she must have passed all the examinations in the first attempt. Also, the candidates should have applied to IFIM Business School and as well as have obtained a valid offer for admission from the institution.

• The scholarship is provided for good CAT or GMAT score holders.
• The merit scholarships are awarded by the Padode Foundation for the PGDM, PGDM (Finance) and PGDM (IB) courses.
• The scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% as the tuition fee waiver.
