Department of Business Management of is a part of University of Calcutta, which was formed in the year 1985 with a view of providing management education to cater the growing need for qualified and efficient managers in the country. University of Calcutta is one of the oldest universities in the country as it was established back in 1867. The Department of Business Management of Calcutta University was ranked 38 as per a survey made by Business Today in 2009. The department’s mission is to impart quality education with ethics required to shine in both real life and business scenarios.
