Government Engineering College, Dahod was established in 2004. It is affiliated to Gujarat Technical University (GTU) and is approved by AICTE. It offers various UG and PG courses in the fields of civil, mechanical, general, electrical, and electronics & communication. Starting with a number of 60 seats, the intake capacity for the UG courses has been increased to 120 and for PG courses is 18. It has state-of-the-art facilities and an environment suited to help students achieve academic excellence. Admission to the college is done on the basis of national levels entrance exams like JEE Main and GUJCET.

As of now, the institute has no scholarship facility of its own available. Although students can avail of different government scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category. Students can also opt for loans from banks.
The institute has a highly educated and very experienced faculty team that aims to mold its students into technical professionals with learning and ethical values. The team has always welcomed students with open arms, supported them, and encouraged their all-round development. Many of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D. and some of them are currently pursuing their Ph.D. in their respective fields of interest and experience.

Ans. Students can apply to B.Tech. courses after the entrance exam results are announced and the institute releases the admission link on its website.
Ques. What are the selection criteria for UG Courses?
Ans. Students who have registered themselves must undergo the ACPC counseling. A merit list will be released and students will be admitted based on their scores acquired in the JEE/GUJCET exams.

Ans. The students will be selected based on their scores in the last qualifying examination. Individual selection letters will be sent to the students on their registered email id and a merit list will also be posted on their official website.
