The course curriculum is good but a little hectic. Teachers have good knowledge of the subject. If you are attentive in classes, it is easy to pass the exams. Most of the studies are based on practical knowledge and solving case studies. There is fieldwork as a part of the curriculum other than the internship, and it is really helpful. The faculty: student ratio is 1:40.
The aim of the program is to generate business understanding and how to explore various markets and give students a platform to expand their business. The programme helped us groom ourselves and change our perspective of viewing things and moreover developed our business network, that is helping us expand our reach.
I chose my course because, I knew it from the beginning that unlike my friends and acquaintances, I'm not studying it because I have to or to just get money and a good salary, but more than that, it's my passion. I like my work. My field. It makes me happy, and at Nirma, I can fulfill my dream! Here the ratio of faculty: the student was simple. I mean, not too bad, neither excellent. I mean, just exactly how it should be. The faculty as said previously was well qualified and knew their field of work. The term exams were timely, however, for our batch, COVID was a bummer. As earlier mentioned, Nirma is known for its Return on Investment. Unlike other colleges in the same tier, it does not charge 20 lakhs. The academic fee for 2 years is 9,50,000 and other fees like hostel, mess and activity fees for 2 years is around 3,50,000. The total course fee is 13,08,000. It is feasible as we can get loan easily from the bank. Nirma comes under A category in most of the banks. Yes there is proper breakdown in the fee structure and it is transparent.
In the first year of the course, all the basics related to various specializations(Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources) are taught. In the second year, we have to select subjects through bidding process in order to make a major and a minor specialization. Course also include special subjects like business communication and simulations and also a visit for social project for a week. Course Curriculum is revised often via alumni board meetings. It makes students updated with the current need in the industry.
It is expensive it 2,15,000 per annum and there is additional charge of 20000 for books and events, the fees increases in mba level with fees being the concerned year, there is no additional charge for admission and The payment is taken from NEFT, cheque, PAYTM, online payment and there is no cash policy.
There are many changes as compared to last year they circulumm has change from 2 semester to 3 term, now there are 3 terms there is heavy load of work but the subject help you learn various aspects of life from maths to culture, management to movie making and there are constant industrial visit like going to BPA, Akshardhaam, Balaji wafers, nirma and many more.
The course curriculum of our college was good. They offered various specialization areas and I chose Marketing management as my specialized area and we studied stuff like consumer behavior, global marketing, etc.
The grand total fees of the MBA course was ?1,004,000, it includes the tuition fees of ?476000, ?11000 for exam fees, and other fees of ?15000 each for 1 year. So, the total fees in the year cost ?5.02 Lakhs.
The MBA course at our college was a 2-year course duration and with a trimester based, so there are 6 semesters. They offered various specialization areas and I opted for Human Resource Management as my specialized area.
Total Fees for Integrated about 17 Lakh for just the programme. BBA ( 3yrs ) - 2,03,000. MBA ( 2yrs ) - 5,46,000. Average fee for PG (in GGC) - 1,30,000. This generally includes Breakfast, Dinner and Pickup n drop and then other expenses round off to 2k/month the other expenses include lunch and snacks in the college, photocopy and printing.
I'm on my end term exam, for the first term and the subjects we've studied are Modern History, Industrial Readiness ( Reading newspaper and all ), Enrichment Course (basically how to make a ppt, we had to go through this for straight 5 + 5 hours), English, Great Books (Gullier's Travel) (Like we failed in IPMAT) and the actual subjects - Maths and Micro Economics. This is pretty strong point, as a parent you might feel this is good and ya to a extent this is but when assignments get in they way it gets messed up and stressful.
The first year fee for the CIWGC category is 4000$ per year. The NRI and NRI Sponsored category are to pay 6500$ per year. The fee for the normal category is around 2,20,000 INR. These are just the tuition fees. Above this 30,000 INR is charged for an application form and around 20,000 INR for other activities and deposits.
The course curriculum is well set and the university started following a trimester system. Different pedagogy is used in order to make class interesting as well as a two-way communicating environment. The semester-end exam now comes every three and a half month. The CEE component carries 60% weightage and the end semester exam carries 40%.
