E pass scholarship which provides about 16-18k every year which is an initiative from Karnataka Government which was informed by our college.
Epass scholarship which is provided by government of Karnataka which I got to know from my college. Other than that there are few scholarship which my friends avail it's for minority Christians and muslims and many more a whole list of them is given to us at the time of joining this college.
The college supports lot of scholarships for underprivileged and for SC,ST and OBC students like epass scholarship and other scholarships as well. Since I'm from a middle class unreserved category student I wasn't eligible to avail any. But lots of students have availed regularly. All these scholarships are provided by the government but the college lets us know about all these regularly.
The fees depend on how you get admitted to college. If you join through SNQ it's barely a few thousand rupees. I got the admission through KCET & my fees were 1 lakh (65k - KEA fee & 35k - college fee). And some additional expenses of buying the uniform and the college bus fee (depends on your pickup point & it's approximately equal to the annual amount that you'd have to pay if you opt for a local bus). So that's not a big deal. And yes, there are scholarship facilities, almost 85% of the students studying have got different scholarships. The college helps you right from applying to the scholarship till doing every other formality. There are a lot of scholarships awarded depending on your financial status, merit, etc. E-pass, Sardar Patel scholarship to name a few. The training & placement cell is highly active & has helped me get internships through various platforms, with a stipend (you can apply for internships right from the first year. Faculties & seniors help a lot throughout.
Scholarship offered for ST caste and I don't get scholarships, I don't take education loan but my parents are taken loan for education in other way
As soon as I joined I was given a list off all scholarships available for a student in his academic. Alll thise had different criteria like caste, region, gender and most imporrant income. I din't get much scholarships because I dint satisfy all criteria however, I got one based on caste.
Yeah, I have got the scholarship, all I did was using it for my own use and for the project purpose. There no rules to use that money, you can use it on whatever you want.
Scholarship and loan facility has always been very good. It was nice and we expected similar things. We never complaint because we were happy.
The college does not provide their own scholarships they provide us information regarding different scholarships available both online and offline and help economically poor students.

I chose this college since it's close to my home. Another reason is due to good infrastructure, student friendly qualified staff who is always there to guide whenever asked for. Good environment best for ones who studies well. Supports cultural traditions music dance, sports etc. Not suited for ones who love to party or bunk classes and have fun throughout. I have written common entrance test to get seat to this college. I have referred the official college websites as well as websites like shiksha while selecting this college.by Pranav Mohan Nair
The college provides excellent studying environment with good nature around, quality teaching from the facilities, student friendly faculties who provide good guidance regarding research, projects and future endeavours. It's one of the only few college in Udupi and is also accredited by NAAC with A grade. I opted this course beacuse of my interest in automobiles and industries.by Student
