Phase 1: Register and Appear for CAT
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks/ percentile in CAT. Hence, candidates should also register themselves on the CAT exam website.
Phase 2:Shortlisting CAT qualifiers for GDPI Round
Post CAT Results, candidates are supposed to update their score or rank, the dept. will shortlist the candidates for GD-PI round - Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Following os the weightage system for shortlisting candidates:
CAT Percentile – 75%
Marks in Class X – 10%
Marks (best of four) in Class XII – 7.50%
Marks in Maths in Class XII – 2.50%
Marks in Graduation – 5%

Phase 3: Final Selection
The final selection of the candidates is based on several specifications, the following is the weightage-system of the selection procedure

Ans: Yes, there is a sectional cutoff in DBE in a way that candidates who are applying for MBA in Business Economics, must be graduates with at least 55% of total marks in aggregate for General Category. There is a relaxation of 5% in sectional cutoff for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, and PWS.
