Established in 1948, Miranda House is a college for women at the University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. Admission Criteria and Process
The admission in the college is made on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 level by the students. The college announces Cut-off percentage each year in accordance with the schedule and guidelines of the University of Delhi for admission to different courses. The announcements of the cut-offs are made through the college and University websites. Candidates are strictly selected on the basis of their merit. To get admission, the candidates are also required to fill the Miranda House Pre-Admission Form of the specific department to verify the eligibility of the candidate.

Apart from the admission on the basis of the merit list, Miranda House also offers 5% relaxation to candidates seeking admission through Extracurricular Activities and Sports Quota after trials and auditions. Talking about the fee structure, the range for the is listed below:

- For Postgraduate Programmes: INR 14530 – INR 19030
Note: The fees are paid before the student is admitted to the college through the University of Delhi website online. In the second and third year, the students are required to pay the fee online through the college website.

Miranda House Scholarships
The Miranda House Alumnae Association (MHAA) offers scholarships both on the basis of merit and economic needs of the students. The scholarships are offered to economically weaker students who deserve better opportunities on the academic front.
Dr. Angeli Qwatra Awards for Excellence scholarship is annually given to two students from the Science and Humanities field which is based on merit, extracurricular and followed by an interview.

The college has different societies like ‘Geetanjali’-The Indian Music Society, ‘Orpheus’-The Western Music Society, ‘Tanz’- The Western Dance Society, debating society, etc which bring laurels to the college by participating in different competitions. All departments have their own societies as well. The college holds Tempest, the Annual Cultural Fest which is a three-day extravaganza. Every department also holds department fests every year. For instance, the English Department organizes LitFest every year which includes events like Book Bazaar, Kahwa Stop, debates, panel discussions and more.
