The college offers UG courses with more than 25 specializations under five different streams - Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM).
All the undergraduate courses are offered for a period of 3 years.
Admission to the UG courses at Mithibai College is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exams. Only students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with not less than 45% marks in aggregate at first attempt are eligible to apply.

Mithibai College offers postgraduate courses with various specializations under three different streams - Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (M.Sc) and Master of Commerce (M.Com).

Mithibai College offers Ph.D. courses under eight different specializations under science and commerce streams. The candidates who are eligible for the course need to appear for the Ph.D. entrance test (PET) to be conducted by the University of Mumbai.
The duration of Ph.D. courses depends upon the completion of the necessary research work.
