Motilal Nehru College (Evening) was established in July 1965.It is one of the oldest colleges established under the esteemed university of Delhi. It stands adjacent to the south campus of the University of Delhi, on the Benito Juarez Marg. The college believes in imparting quality education to the students and implant moral and societal values in them.

The college offers undergraduate courses in the field of arts and commerce. It offers BA (Program), BA (Honours), B.Com (Program) and B.Com(Honours) course of three-year duration with four specializations and intake of 370 in BA (Program) and 154 in BA (Honours), 92 in BCOM (Program) and 62 in BCOM (Honours).

Applicants who have completed 10+2/ HSC with one language and three elective/ academic subjects from a recognized Board are eligible to apply for admission to BA (Honours/ Program) course. Selection of the candidate is done based on the score of best three elective/ academic subjects and one language (core/ elective/ functional) in 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination. The merit list is released on the Delhi University’s website and shortlisted candidates are called to attend the counselling session.
