Each year new norms are made. This creates a bad image among the students. Management doesn't maintain a good relationship with students. Students are sometimes made to feel like tighed up. Although the college campus creates a very good vibe for every students.
College offers scholarship for bright students among economically weaker sections. These scholirships are not provided by the college. It is offered by the university. There is no loan facility in the college.
Fee structure is very cheap. Approximately 2000 - 5000 per annum. This amount is fixed for every college under the University of Kerala. Fee varies among different courses. But it doesn't exceed Rs.5000.
There are lots of event celebrated each year. Each club conducts thier own fests viz film fest, music fest, food fest, etc. Onam, Christmas, Holi, etc are celebrated vividly. Besides college day, youth festival, atrs day, sports day, etc are also celebrated.
The college provides a good opportunity in cricket and football. All other games and athletics are very poor. College have well functioning labs for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. Besides college have units of NCC and NSS. A number of clubs are also very functioning.
The work of alumni association till date is very poor. The Alumni Association is just for the record. There is no active alumni in the college. Senior students inside the college are very helpful both in academics and campus issues.
Faculties are very friendly. They maintain a good relationship with the students. They support every student to achieve thier maximum potential. Every class has a mentor and every department has a head.
Eligible students are shortlisted on the basis of merit list. And these students are summoned to college to explain about academic atmosphere and admission procedures. College is affiliated to University of Kerala so they provide the chance for changing either course or college or both.
College has a very well functioning placement cell. Those students who register with the placement cell is informed of every ongoing placement and interviews. College doesn't provide any kind of internship.
Well structured curriculum. Exam structure is sometimes difficult to follow. Exam results and timetables are usually published late. Since the college is affiliated to University of Kerala, college is not responsible for the inconvenience.

In the heart of Pandalam town, there is the renowned college established by Nair Service Society in 1950. It is govt.-aided and affiliated to Kerala University, accredited B+ by NAAC as of 2020. Every year, 2500+ students pursue graduation and PG available for 14 courses in arts, sciences, commerce. The centralized allotment process takes place usually in mid-July. Students can apply online.
