Talking about academics they provide good learning environment with best faculties in the stream. We have 2 internals per semester, so we can learn in very relaxed environment. The library is provided with large number of books for reference. our college is a part of NPTEL local chapter.
A good infrastructure facilities are there in the college. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the college which helps students to do their academic works. An informative library with different types of books related to every subjects are present. Prominent newspaper and magazines are also provided there. About labs physics lab contain many hitech equipments related to optics electronics and separate computer lab.The faculty members are the main asset of the college. Most of the teachers are highly qualified with post doctorate. More than that teachers are very friendly.
The faculty are well experienced and qualified. Johnson sir(commerce) was really good. We have to complete a compulsory internship during our 3rd year. We also have multiple opportunities to host and participate in many events on many levels.
Over all it's a great campus. Great faculties who are specialised in their respective fields. We will get opportunities to do internship in various places. Faculties are really friendly. Bsc physics syllabus is pretty hard. But it covers almost every sections,which will help us to clear various entrance exams like JAM,TIFR.
The academics are really good. The syllabus is well updated with the mg university kottayam. The course makes it compulsory for students to take up internships from various companies for atleast a month. The course also provides the students with industrial visits in different years.
Normally any graduation from the College charges only the prescribed University fee which is around Rs. 2000/- per year. Hence it is feasible. This is the case of students getting admission on merit quota. Other Admission quota like Community Quota ans Management Quota the fee structure will be very high.
Course Curriculum -
The course curriculum and exam structure were solely decided by the university during those days. But these days colleges can decide their curriculum so it is much relevant, fair and industry specific. The on-campus placements were not available during those days, but is available now.
The course syllabus was updated in 2015 which was quite up to date. As students of mathematics we were not given much industrial exposure. The faculties were experienced and good. There were so many wonderful faculties naming just one of them would be not justified.
The syllabus was well updated and quite apt for the course we studied. Enough practicals were conducted. Industrial exposure was not enough. The faculties were qualified and saw to it that they did their very best in imparting knowledge to the students. The department of Mathematics is well experienced
The course of travel and tourism came into recognition few years ago. This course provides various oppurtunities all over the world. They have made enough industrial exposures inorder to get hold about the course functions and importance.
