I was always curious about accountancy. I had interest in the commerce background so, with time my interest started developing more and more enabling me to choose this course i.e, bcom hons. The curriculum has vast learning scopes for its students from theoretical based knowledge to practical based projects and stuffs. It provides the necessary information about all the subjects in the course. And the frequent examinations make way for the students to identify their loopholes and work accordingly. I don't think any improvement needs to be done as all the teaching staffs and faculties are doing their best to provide what the course asks for.
The course curriculum is designed to be relevant and comprehensive, offering practical components and interdisciplinary perspectives that influenced my decision to pursue this course. It includes industry-relevant projects, case studies, and internships to prepare students for real-world applications. However, there are areas for improvement, such as updating content to keep pace with industry advancements and providing more flexibility in elective courses. The curriculum's integration of guest lectures and hands-on experiences enriches the learning experience but could be enhanced by offering more guidance and resources for exam preparation. Exams are spaced throughout the semester, assessing understanding across various topics, but their difficulty level can be challenging, necessitating deeper comprehension. Overall, while the curriculum effectively prepares students for practical applications and further academic pursuits, enhancements in content relevance, flexibility.
The course of bcom is very good for those who want to go in a commerce field as it covers Accounting, Business Law, Finance, Management, Economics and other commerce oriented subjects like Taxation, Mathematics etc.
The Course Curriculum is Pretty diverse in our college, there are teachers who are well aware of the course they're teaching. So I Don't regret my college nor my course. There are teachers who provide real-life application while studying. Improvements may be considered regarding completion of syllabus as the teachers find it very difficult to complete the course in time. Exams are conducted once in 6 months i.e. semester exams which are pretty competitive.
Accounts being my favourite subject, the course curriculum was completely surrounded to the subject and it really helps me to understand more and better about the subject. It really prepares me well for real-world applications and my further academic plans. I would suggest a little improvement in the curriculum as we need more linient exam questions because there are students who are not the best at studies and they should at least be able to pass the exams for a better future.
The course curriculum was good. Faculty members were great and very knowledgeable. Some of the members were just Ok but by overall means it was good. Student ratio was female only as in morning its girls college only. Two exams were conducted yearly and it was not difficult to pass if the students are being attentive in class itself.
I choose bcom because I am also studying for CA so bcom is a must do course with CA. The faculty to students ratio is 1:50 The faculty is well educated and also I love their teaching. Term exam happenes in every 6 months and the level of paper is moderate to pass.
I am from commerce background and I want to do CMA after Bcom. So I choose this course. Student ratio :- 1:25 The teaching skill of my college's teachers are tremendous. They help us in every way. They teach us in our comfortable language. Exam takes after 6 months... And it's very difficult
I studied commerce from HS that's why I chose this college as it is one of the best b.com college in Kolkata. Faculties are highly educated with b.ed dgree or CA degree. Teaching methods are perfect and simple. Each classes have a max of 50 students. 3 term exams were there in a year and if someone goes to college everyday then he can pass the exam easily.
I persued B.com,I choose this course because I wanted to do CA simultaneously. There is almost 60-75 students in each section. We had 4 sections. There were almost 20-25 faculty staffs in the morning session. The teachers usually talks in Bengali, and makes us study on a exam oriented manner. The term exams were moderate, whatever was taught in class was asked in the term exams.
Eligibility criteria was that a student has to have minimum 70% marks in his or her 12th board exams. We can visit college or even search online about the the admission details and information about application forms, dates etc etc Exams used to held every 6 months along with the class tests and internal exams before the final semester exams. The difficulty level was easy to moderate or sometimes moderate to difficult. Regarding online admission, management should be a little attentive towards the server. It sometimes creates hassle. Otherwise everything is okay.
SMBy - Silky MihariaAs a college student, the admission process was quite rigorous yet manageable. For my course, eligibility criteria were clearly outlined on the college website, including required qualifications and specific subjects in which minimum grades were necessary. Finding the application form was straightforward; it was available on the college website along with details about application fees and deadlines. However, it would have been helpful if the application process allowed for online submission to streamline the process further. Regarding reservation benefits, the college provided details about quotas for various categories, such as SC/ST, OBC, and economically weaker sections. This trans
ARBy - Avrajit RoyThe admission was really smooth. The cut off was quite in the range with my marks. I am totally satisfied with the college. The college dunia website also really helped me with the colleges and all as I didn't knew much about colleges.

Seth Anandram College does not offer B.Ed. course. It offers courses in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce only and not Education.
