Curriculum are amazing you will love it if you have an interest. Since your college is autonomous so it can decide the syllabus of its own which is great. Every week there are seminars which helps students to overcome the fear of public speaking. Learning to present ppt and so on. There are good faculties which help also to get our concept clear
B.Com Hons. curriculum was fully updated, most recent amendments were taught to us.Once a year, the Xavier's Commerce Society organises an Industrial visit for the Commerce students charging a fee of ?500.Except a few, most of the faculties are knowledgeable, experienced and effective.Personally, I felt Prof Sonali Saha, Prof Saptarshi Roy and Prof Soumi Bhattacharya were efficient teachers.
I think this is the best faculty one could receive for such a course for three prime reasons: 1. Excellent study material 2. Regularity3. Professionalism of professors They are highly skilled, they provide the best notes and handouts for each topic. The syllabus is up to date and organised very efficiently. Students studying in this college generally do not even require tuitions to study at home.
The courses are updated regularly and a good number of faculties are well-experienced and impart appropriate information. The courses are heavy and draining sometimes but a proper balance can help you score a good average.

The subjects like accounts we're quite backdated and modern techniques of keeping accounts weren't taught to us, rather we were taught the traditional book-keeping concept.
