Life changing experience

Fees -

Very feasible. Since it was a reputed college the fees was reasonable and it was spaced out over the year which didn't make it burdensome. Some concessions were given too since I took the catholic quota. But all in all it wasnt too expensive for me.

Course Curriculum -

I don't think it was great as u was forced to study subscription that I didn't want to. I think with xaviers going autonomous they have done the right thing. The combination of subjects were not all that great but that was the case with all colleges run by Mumbai university.

Most Amazing and Realistic college

Fees -

This is a very premium institution. It's good for the general category students. And other reservations are according to the Fee structure. As I take admission through the Direct Management basis so, I did not get EBC facility. As the Open Category students can get EBC facility for them that's Half Fee structure like OBC's.

A good college to start a great journey

Fees -

The fee structure for UG BA courses is pretty affordable. It ranges somewhere around 5-8k per year for FY, SY, and TY. The fee structure for BSC, BMM and BMS are very different and are higher. Other expenses may include participating in an extracurricular activity or a workshop.

The syllabi are vast and deep, much more compared to Mumbai University curriculum. Personally, I find it challenging enough. Self-study and research under the guidance of the professor is the learning method. The curriculum also broadens social services, seminars, workshops, fests and paper presentations etc. Personally, I find it challenging enough and with enough input from the faculty to improve your subject knowledge according to interest.

A way of life

Fees -

The fee structure is extremely and completely feasible. With hardly 7000 rupees as year tuition fees, it accounts to almost free education. Payment is only made once a year and that is very less Like I already said. Any other payment like field trips we have to the sponor them.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum as I would describe is good. It looks into the aspect of how students would understand things in the period of three years. So, it starts off with the very basic concepts in the first year followed by the increasing level of difficulty in the next two years.

My college gave me the perfect platform to learn and to develop my talents.

Fees -

The yearly fees is less than 400 for junior college and for senior college, it isn't more than 6000. Yearly. Which is affordable to most, if not all. (75paise per class/lecture)

Course Curriculum -

Teachers do a lot of homework on what to bring to the table for students and more often than not, it turns out to be interesting and a beautiful approach to learning. Practical learning involves live discussions, use of audio-visual movies and videos. We are often asked to present a chapter based on our own understanding and then 'teach' it to the class. It's a wholesome experience. Our projects need detailed research and our teachers help us with them, till they are perfect. The courses are good and so is the choice of content. (Xavier Senior College is Autonomous.)

As our was a 2 year course, so total fees was around Rs.26000.They also have scholarship available for financially backward students. It is given to a student having good academic record and have low income of parents etc. The laboratory and library deposit are usually refunded after the end of course.

Course Curriculum -

It's an Autonomous institute, so the course structure is well set focusing on research which is quite different from regular institutes. Each paper is divided into various parts, which gives an ease to understand and study the topic. It is then followed by laboratory practicals which is a gives us an practical idea to what is being studied in theory so that it's related Practicals focuses more on research which gives us an opportunity to explore things on our own. Also feasibility in examination dates and venue is an add on benefit.

Fees -

The fees are pretty feasible if compared to other colleges. BMM is a self financing course and the government doesn't provide for anything for these courses. The fees ranges from about 24000 to 26000 depending on which year you are joining. Although you have to keep paying throughout the year for the things you keep using in college. Like if you want to use the studio room you have to pay Rs. 1000/ hour. And other things like that.

The course curriculum here in st. Xavier's is better than any other college. Firstly, because of the autonomy given you are not bound to only be studying from the textbooks that Mumbai university tells you to use. Fees -

Fees Structure is very much Feasible for all the faculties. Commerce is just for Rs. 4000/- for First year of Bachelor. Second year is for just Rs. 5000/- and another is just for around Rs.5500/- to Rs. 6000/-. B.SC is almost in the same fee structure. B.Sc IT is quite expensive than other like 90000 for entire 3 years of bachelor. Almost same for BMM and Rs.100000/- approx for BMS.
