The college has been able to keep up the reputation throughout several years because of its governing body. The college provides you quality education as well as endless opportunities. There are some restrictive rules that probably won't make much sense, overall the college is good.
It's a wonderful experience studying in this college. And as they say, 'Xavier is not just a college, it is a way of life,' I believe it. It's a great life experience here I love it. It made me confident and I am ever grateful for that.
Just the 12th marks I scored 93%.It is the second best college for sciences in the country at that time.
Placements were good for the arts people hence i would not comment on it. I am from sciences. Though there are no good jobs for sciences.
The college had a good management now because of the new principal and his new principles he makes it work or the management is pretty rude and mean to students and let's say it isn't very approachable the work done by them is impeccable but they aren't friendly at all so don't even expect a smile.
The college is well established and filled with a great crowd and great teachers. The management isn't very well run, it is slow and somewhat difficult to work with. However the pros definitely out way the cons. It's a great school.
None at all. It makes you who you are and never leaves you.
My college life was epic. We had the best teacher's ever and the college offered the best degrees at that time especially in my field. Loved my experience over there and am very proud of being a Xavierite. Also infrastructure is absolutely gorgeous with the most ancient and rather british architecture. Completely different environment all together.
The vibe, ambience and the people in this college make it the college it is. It's literally a way of life. The exposure that the college provides is world apart and I was drawn because of that. Also the various fests, activities, ECC, SIP programmes help us reach newer potentials. The different committees also boost the morale and help the students develop a niche for themselves.
It is good. Wouldn't say it's the best. It becomes very competitive and the lower strata has no hopes of getting in. Even for the people who have excellent track records are subject to rejection and it seems like a dead end at times. Nonetheless, if one gets in, it's gold.

St. Xavier's College is considered to be the best for students studying in the field of humanities or arts or media. That's how the word about this college is circulated. So like any other student and that too living in Mumbai, I found St. Xavier's to be the best option. The teaching staff as well visiting professors for the BMM course of St. Xavier's are phenomenal. They are industry professionals or the former ones, and hence, students get to learn a lot. Moreover, the professors encourage more learning and applying the knowledge acquired rather than just studying. The college has various other seminars like foreign diplomats do show up on these seminars, the TATA Literature Festival's iby Rugveda Rajan Bagwe
