Government Arts and Science College Admission

Admissions to Government Arts and Science College is based on merit, the candidates score in their qualifying examination.

The admissions are done by the Centralised Admission Process. The candidates will be selected on the scores they received on the marks they received on their exams.

How to apply?

  • Candidates must register themselves in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) and get a CAP ID and password.
  • The candidates will then have to create a student profile, by entering a valid email, phone number, photos, and HSE/ Graduation certificate.
  • Candidates must then add their qualifications and upload their certificates.
  • Candidates will then have to select their colleges and the courses they’d like to study. The candidates must pick their colleges and courses carefully.
  • Candidates must then take printouts of the application form and after that, they will have to pay their application fee via online transaction/ debit card/ credit card. The application fee for candidates of generals in INR 280 and SC/ ST is INR 115. The application fee is non-refundable.
  • Candidates can submit their final application.
  • After submission candidates will be allotted their colleges. Each candidate will have three allotments and two special allotments.
  • After allotments, the candidate will know which college of the ones they’ve selected, they have been accepted to.
  • Candidates must then go and admit themselves to the colleges. In case of cancellation, the candidates can do it through the nodal centres.
