The civil engineering has scope in Kashmir the faculty is experienced people with high qualifications exams are very difficult as they are conducted by Kashmir University.
Feasable. yes there was no compulsion on fee structure. it was affordable as compared to colleges outside jammu and Kashmir. But some dues were additional like deoartmental fee. library fee and all that which was hectic job for students as most of us were not able to pay the same.
It was just a theoretical approach in our college just to pass the semester, no practical knowledge was given. this is reason we are still jobless. there was no industry visit nor any placement cell. so that students get attached to some sort of job.
Course syllabus as usual nothing new at all, designed by kashmir university, for which we have to take 4 books for 1 subject min. Then we get max.90% of syllabus, due to covid 19 & article 370 industrial exposure is zero, as we all are fully aware about Kashmir ,issue of Kashmir, shumail mam, atira aziz mam, sami Hamid mam
The cousrse here is truly updated. The syllabus here is as per the latest syllabi provided by the university ( Kashmir University) No there is not enough industrial exposure. There should be more industrial trainings. The faculty here is very good. I like Er. Majid Darwesh the most
This college owner by a trust so peace is very small and education facilities very good this college providing a poor students at discount instruments books and other accessories also provided free in in poor students by college management doing good thinking
This is a good engineering college is provided good skills I am working now in MNC company this college providing also industrial visit in other state MNC companies and is provided also good life of a student in technical education is related for Board of Technical Education Rajasthan Jodhpur
For people selected through JKCET, it is affordable but for management students, the amount is really very big. In 2008 our course fee was 28000 per year. That we paid in one installment at the end of the year. But in addition there were lots of other expenses to be paid like central Library fee, departmental library fee, bus fee, examination fee. I don't know about the current fee structure.
The curriculum and examination pattern, the quality of teachers, the infrastructure, everything is very good in the college. But when it comes to placements, there are hardly any campus placemets for students. After finishing the 4 year course, one has to move out of state for a job or higher studies. There must be a full fledged placement cell in the college to make the students employable like we have in the colleges out side the state. Also there must be a lot of industrial tours and tech festival in the college to develop the industry related skills in the students.
The fee structure was 37800 for the year, it was for tution, apart from that I used to pay 13000 for bus fee and 3000 examination fee for 2 semesters in a year. I think the fee structure was feasible as compared to other colleges.
The course curriculum was more theoretical and not practical however in engineering field the course curriculum should focus more on practical knowledge. The labs in our college are very outdated, they should be updated according to the current technology. The exams are conducted 4 times a year, 2 minors and 2 majors. The day was chilled all the time.
Feasible. Currently fee for B. E. is INR 45, 000 per annum. Before, for our batch it was INR 37, 800. Also other services provided require around INR 3000 p. a. Departmental fee of INR 10, 000 is to be paid for the whole course.
The focus on research is not very well. Exams are frequent but labs are hardly on time. The main thing that keeps students on track is Self Studying. Mostly exam papers come from external universities which is a great step in making a good engineer.
expensive The fee is 45000rs for tution only with the hostel fee of 3500rs monthly for hostel students and different fee structures for bus roots from 1500rs to 2200rs accordingly moreover 2400rs examination fee is charged along with 1400rs of backlog fee college also charge 1700rs for no reason
course cirriculum is typically normal exam is either postponed or late backlog fee is much higher cirriculum is not groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students no industrialits visit the college for placements due to the lack of facilities
Feasible, actually this is a govt sponsored college and after the selection government has set up feasible fee structures but if a student want to go on management quota the he or she has to pay very huge amount
Best in the state and very well as far as we look market demand course syllabus is up to date and every semester covers 6 subject atleast, course also covers latest programming languages which are job oriented.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Our team will look into it.
