National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension or popularly known as MANAGE was established in 1987 by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is an autonomous institute located in the state of Hyderabad. It is sprawled over an artistically landscaped area of 17 hectares which has beautiful lawns, academic blocks, residential blocks, library, computer centers, and much more other facilities. The Institute provides specializations only in postgraduate diploma courses in agricultural management.

Given below is the detailed information on the courses offered by the Institute:

Course 1: Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management (PGDM ABM)

Duration – 2 years | Full-time
Eligibility – Bachelor’s degree in agricultural or allied sciences with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates in their final year can also apply. 
Program Fee – INR 8 Lakhs

Selection Criteria – Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of score in CAT 2019. Final admission will be done on the basis of performance in GD and PI. 

Course 2: Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDM AEM)

Duration – 1 year | Part-time
Eligibility – Bachelor’s degree in agriculture and allied areas. Minimum of 5 years of work experience is necessary in the field of agricultural extension. 
Program Fee – INR 15,000

Course 3: Diploma in Agricultural Extension Services for Input Dealers (DAESI)

Duration – 1 year | Full-time
Eligibility – Open to all candidates with a minimum pass in Class 10^th 
Program Fee – INR 20,000

Selection Criteria – Graduate/post graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture with 5 years of experience.

Course 4: Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Warehousing Management (PGDM AWM)

Duration – 1 year | Online-mode
Eligibility – Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian board. 
Program Fee – INR 7000

Selection Criteria – Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in graduation

MANAGE Hyderabad Admission

A candidate proceeding for admission to the course must register online in the prescribed application form available on the official website. The candidates are requested to read about theFull-Time Course before registration and abide by the same. The Institute follows a rigorous admission and selection procedure for the eligible candidates. It is based on scores of CAT examination for admission in PGDM ABM. Whereas, for other courses, the institute provides admission on the basis of marks scored in the previous qualifying examination.

MANAGE Hyderabad Placements

The institute has a full-fledged placement cell providing an extensive amount of opportunities in the sector of agricultural extension management. Major agri-business companies have recruited students as management trainees and middle-level managers. 100% placements have been achieved since the inception of the institute. The major sectors from which placement demands have been coming forth include Agri-input, Retail, Commodity, and Consultancy. 

The placement for the batch 2016-18 concluded with 100% record with highest CTC of INR 16 LPA. The average CTC went up to INR 8.56 LPA with modal CTC of INR 10.5 LPA. The list of recruiters includes HDFC Bank, Dabur India, Cadbury, Magma, Indian Oil Corporation, ICICI Bank, Tata Chemicals Ltd., Kotak Mahindra Bank and more.

1. Hostels: The campus offers accommodation facilities to students. The hostel block consists of 168 rooms with intercom facility. The hostel also has arrangements for hygienic food.
2. Library: It has a collection of books, educational videos, and online resources. It has 10,000 books on management, agriculture, and allied aspects. There are 170 Indian and foreign journals and over 100 newsletters and conference proceedings.
3. Guesthouse: Facilities on campus for guests includes fully furnished air-conditioned rooms.
4. IT Support: The IT centre at MANAGE houses 200 computers with Wi-Fi connectivity. A video-conferencing facility is also available to connect institute to other universities in India.
