MANAGE was established by the Ministry Of Agriculture, Government of India in 1987 as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad as an autonomous institute, from which its acronym MANAGE is derived.


MANAGE Apotheosis:

  • In 1992 recognizing its importance, its status was exalted to National Institute and its name changed to its present name the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management.
  • The institute is a response to challenges of agricultural extension in the diverse agriculture sector where policies of economy and level of agricultural technology are becoming more complex. MANAGE Course aims at implanting managerial and technical skills to the Extension Officers, Scientists, and Managers in the agricultural economy.
  • MANAGE is sprawled over an artistically landscaped area of 17 hectares which has beautiful lawns, academic blocks, residential blocks, hostels, library, computer centers, and much more other facilities.

MANAGE Courses:

National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management offers 2 year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management (PGD-AM) Course. The Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Agribusiness Management) enables agricultural graduates to acquire the competence to function as effective agri-business managers.


MANAGE Hyderabad Fee Structure:

The candidates seeking admission to the PGDAEM (online) must pay Course Fee of Rs.7000.00 in case of Indian candidates and the US $ 220 in case of international candidates, to MANAGE through RTGS (wire-transfer). Payment of theMANAGE Hyderabad Fees has to be made only after the acceptance of the application by MANAGE.

MANAGE Hyderabad Eligibility:

In a manner to proceed for MANAGE Hyderabad Admission process, the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Allied subjects or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized Indian University.

The degree must be from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament

Candidate can also have a qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent by the Government of India (GoI).  


MANAGE Hyderabad Admission:

A candidate proceeding for MANAGE Hyderabad Admission to the course must register online in the prescribed application form available on the official website. The candidates are requested to read about theFull-Time Course before registration and abide by the same. The final stage admission of the candidates to PGDAEM(online), rests on the discretionary power of the Director-General, MANAGE.

MANAGE Admission Process:

MANAGE follows a rigorous admission and selection procedure for the eligible candidates.

  • MANAGE Admission Procedure is based on scores of CAT examination. A merit list will be exhibited by the institute with the calculation of weightage given to a particular graduation field and/or reservation students’.
  • Further, meritorious students shall be called upon for a rigorous and competitive selection procedure which will include the following parameters to test a candidate:
    1. CAT Score
    2. Diversity Factor (Reserved Category Students’ criteria)
    3. Paper/Essay Writing
    4. Group Discussion
    5. Extempore/Micro Presentation
    6. Personal Interview
    7. Work experience
    8. Academic Record
  • Each parameter is governed by procedures and weightage of marks to be awarded as per the candidate’s performance and categorization.

MANAGE Hyderabad CAT Cut-Off:

CAT exam cutoff is staked at 50% of the maximum percentile score.

MANAGE Placements Highlights:

  • A total of 102 offers were made by recruiters across 8 sectors. Major companies included ITC (ABD), Adani Wilmar, Bunge, Spencer’s Retail, Tata Metahelix, National Bulk Handling Corporation, Dow AgroSciences, SAB Miller etc.
  • YES Bank retained the spot of the highest domestic payer (Rs 13 lakhs CTC). The one student who opted to take up entrepreneurship has chosen the dairy sector.
  • MANAGE Hyderabad Average package was Rs. 7.53 lakhs, an increase of 15 percent over last year. The international MANAGE Placement doubled to 4 with Edelweiss (commodities) and Skylark Group recruiting two each.

MANAGE Facilities: 

Campus

Spread over 17 hectares lush green MANAGE campus is located away from the noise and pollution of the city.

The infrastructure comprises academic and residential blocks. Academic blocks having air-conditioned classrooms equipped with teaching and learning aids such as LCD projectors, digital writing board, Wi-Fi connectivity and computer systems

Hostels

PGDM-ABM being a fully residential program, the campus offers accommodation facilities to students. The hostel block consists of 168 rooms. All the rooms are connected with intercom facility. The hostel has arrangements for hygienic food.

Library

The resource centre, Chaudhary Charan Singh Cyberary has a collection of books, educational videos and online resources. It has 10,000 books on management, agriculture and allied aspects. The Cyberary also has 170 Indian and foreign journals, over 100 newsletters and conference proceedings.

IT Support

The IT centre at MANAGE houses 200 computers with Wi-Fi connectivity. A video-conferencing facility is also available to connect institute to other universities in India.

Recreation and Health Center

Sports and recreation activities like tennis, badminton, swimming, squash, table tennis, snooker, Carrom, and chess are enjoyed by students.

There is also a gymnasium.

A healthcare centre with doctor and nursing staff is available on campus.

Guesthouse

Facilities on campus for guests includes fully furnished air-conditioned rooms.

  • MANAGE Hyderabad was ranked 18th among management schools in India by Outlook India's "Top 100 Management Schools" of 2016.
