college is good and fun.you will learn a lot.there will some hard times though.
School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, (in short SPAV), was established on July 7, 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, as an autonomous institution. SPAV is a premier Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI) directly under the MHRD, for excellence in the fields of Planning and Architecture. Although in its nascent stage, with experienced faculty and guest lectures by eminent visiting faculty and industry experts from all over the country, the quality of education imparted and its focus on research puts SPAV in the league of leading institutes in the country.
SPAV has many facilities and funds that have been given for the student learning and welfare must be spent in a wiser way. There is little power to the students for student affairs and culturals as there is no student counsel. There is a huge process of taking permissions from different authoritative members for even a small event which is very time consuming especially for a course like ours.
College is good though,Good faculty, But not much foreign lectures or anything like that, the faculty members will be mostly architectects. So it is better to be an architecture student over here. Planning suveys are most likely to be held within th state so exposure such a way is very poor.
College is very nice and very lively. Seniors are always there for support. Management of the college is also nice.
The management is very nice. The college is academically very strong. The concepts get clear very easily. Other activities are held regularly. If you get a chance to take admission in SPAV I will strongly recommend you to take. Little disputes happens in every college which can be ignored at times. College held regularly sports and cultural activities which everyone can take part.
Good college management working along with the mhrd.so if is there any change the main mhrd will make act.
The interaction between juniors and seniors are very good. In every work they help and guide their juniors. Campus infrastructure is awesome and mess is good .Our college is in between of the city.
