Course Curriculum Review

"I personally do not like the course structure at all and I feel that a lot of things are missing. I have no idea if there are any research initiatives being conducted in our college. I didn't have any elective option in my first year. "

Fees Review

"My fee was around Rs. 13000 in the 1st year and right now, in my second year, the fee is around Rs. 12300. So, I think that the fee is quite affordable. My fee would be somewhat same in my third year so all in all, my studies would be finished in Rs. 35000 and that's justified. "   Read More

"The course curriculum is too good. The college is best for commerce students. They will be benefitted by the teachings of the teachers. There are many more courses such as BSC, BA, and many more extracurricular activities. Bcom is the best course to have opted in the college."

Fees Review

"The fee structure is feasible as it is a central government university. For BCom it has been between 12k to 15k.which is quite feasible than any other institute. It is not expensive. students can learn here with a respective cost. As compared to other colleges it is low."   Read More

Going to be the best 3 years of my life...

Fees -

As you know all colleges in DU comes under government so fees are feasible as in our college it's around 14k per year which is less than any private college. But in DU our college fees is higher than other colleges of DU i.e. approximately 9k. But its feasible for any middle class family. There are scholarship options for reserved category students also.

Course Curriculum -

B.Sc. Statistics is not that much popular among students but in future it will be in high demand. After completing masters in this course you can get job as an analyst which is a high profile job. If you are not interested to go to masters level, you can also do actuarial side by side while completing graduation. You can learn R or any other software for data analysis also as it is in the syllabus of this course. Course Structure is not that much good as less focus on practical things. But you can attend workshops and all to increase your practical knowledge. And there are also elective subject GE you have to opt for 2 years and you will get a minor degree in that subject.

Still I am student and it's good.

Fees -

It's around 13000 which is quite affordable. Its less than any private college fees but the fees is higher than any other DU college. You can also apply for scholarship if you are a reserved category candidate.

Course Curriculum -

I am doing B.Sc stats honors and it's awesome. I have studied eco in my class 11th so I was interested in Statistics, that's why I have chosen this. I am a first year student and till now my experience is awesome. I have taken maths as my generic elective subject. You can also take eco, commerce, English, c.s. etc as generic elective.

Life Changing Experience

Fees -

The fee structure of our college is given as per the Delhi University norms, since it is a government college. The fee structure also depends on the nature of the course. My fee is averagely between 13000 to 16000 per year. There are no additional charges to be given for any services.

Course Curriculum -

B.Com. is one of the most common courses that students of the commerce stream take up. B.Com. is good and helps in post graduation too. The practical learning process is taken care of in the course that I am studying and many subjects of general electives are offered. I have no idea of the research initiatives that my college might be doing.

Someday the college feels lifeless and bland

Fees -

Since PGDAV is a Delhi University college so, the fee comes specified by the University itself. The fee structure is then sub-divided as per the course one has taken. My fee is somewhat around Rs. 15000 per year, however, I feel that it is slightly overpriced considering the lack of facilities like wifi and auditorium.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is good and subjects are designed such that students are able to learn from scratch. I personally think that there is not enough focus on practical knowledge, as much as it should be so I think the course curriculum should be updated. I have heard of research initiatives undertaken by other departments of the college, not very sure of my department. We do have some electives in our last year.

The best 3 years of my life.

Fees -

Yes, Delhi University is always affordable irrespective of the course. Per year fee was - 13,000 INR . I completed my graduation in less than 50,000 INR.

Course Curriculum -

This course is very good. Practical and theoretical knowledge is divided perfectly between 6 semesters. No extra initiative was taken by the college.

Fees -

Quality of education and another curriculum worth it to the core. Personally, I feel it is reasonable for this kind of college. I paid 17000Rs. per semester in my first year and 23000Rs per semester in my second Year and 30000 Rs in my Final year. Other than this they will charge Exam fees of Rs.100 per paper.

Course Curriculum -

Commerce is basically a theoretical oriented paper. But here we felt very interesting with the structure they had. They had a lot more other activities other than major subjects, we can choose any subject of our choice from any other department from our college each semester. I chose Data Base Management System, Web Designing, Multimedia, etc from the computer science department. It also provides us with a chance for having contact with other department fiends also.
