Internships Opportunities :

Depends !!! A candidate has to be among top 100 to get internship. Stopped is decent. Others have to talk to alumis to get it.

Remarks :

All good and I don't think I have any problem. I learnt alot there

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, all major banks provide such facility and you have lot of help provided by the administration to get the loan.

Exam Structure :

You have 3 exams in a semester. 2 mid and one final one. Additional is class participation marks which is based on your active enrolment in class It is really wast and students will get excellent learning experience to achieve the results. Helps a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Moderate. But since they are providing a lot of other things you will have to pay a good money. But I would say it is worth it. The kind of exposure we get and the other activities for that I think spending this much money is not an issue. Also help in placement activities is provided.

Entrance Preview :

It provides a better infrastructure and the course curriculum is good. The most important part of the curriculum is industry exposure as it gives the student a direction to plan your future effectively. Also the semester wise mechanism is purely designed to address the changing needs.

College Events :

So many. 1.Guest lecture series. 2.Mad Add. 3.Show and events. 4.Debate competition. 5.Extempore 6.HR convention. 7.Finance convention. 8.Marketing seminars. 10.Dandia show. 11.Festival celebrations. 12.Collage day 13.BUSINESS lectures. 14.seminars on economy and finance.

Hostel Facilities :

Good. All aee well maintained and effective. Food quality is good and also just outside the village campus you have eateries to change your taste more often. It is perfect and also the collage is at the heart of the city so you can go outside and have good food.

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Campus Life :

All excellent. I don't have any specific comments on any of the points. I don't feel any kind of issues. Campus is well maintained and effective. Ll other facilities are maintained in an effective way.This is amazing and interesting. Good collage to go for higher studies.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, netwerk has to be built to make sure that you are connected with others and business is business.

Faculty :

Very good and excellent industry exposure.The way they presented the case studies,I think that is something really helped us in knowing a lot of facts about the overall industry and the need ans to be more specific the things that is expected from an MBA graduate.

Admission :

I appeared for MAT scored 99 percentile. Then I filled the form for MITSOM and appeared in group discussion and Interview. Once they released the merit list. I was among the shortlisted candidates. Once the list is released,they call the candidates to to take enrollment.

Placement Experience :

it is 100 percentage and then the have a placement cell who takes care of all the placement activities and make sure that the placement is provided at least opportunities are given to each one of the stuDents. Also,the alumnos help in placing a lot of people to their companies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would say it is very effective and designed to serve the requirements better.the important aspect is the guest faculties most of them are industry experts and their lectures really helped us in knowing a lot of things without even having a day of corporate experience.

Ques. Which is better, MIT SOM or Indira Institute of Management?

Ans. My sister did her bachelor’s degree in engineering from MIT and MBA from Indira Institute of Management. So, I have some ideas about both the institutes. Among the above institutes, Indira Institute of Management is much better than MIT SOM for a management degree, considering the overall development of students in Indira Institute of Management. The table below gives a comparison of the institutes. But MIT School of Management is not up to the standard of the Indira Institute of Management. MBA in Indira Institute of Management has a much better curriculum and infrastructure for the overall development of its students. Indira Institute of Management conducts an excellent soft-skill program, which includes life problem solving, consulting selling, negotiation skills, etc in the MBA curriculum, which is very helpful for students. Ans. Maharashtra Institute of Technology gives 100% placements to its students. MITSOM also gives 100% placements to the students. Looking at the year-wife statistics, the salary offered to the students has increased as compared to the previous year’s data. About 100+ companies participated in the on-campus selections in MIT Pune. On the other hand, about 250+ companies visited MITSOM for placements. Top Recruiters: Some of the top recruiters of MITSOM include Deloitte, Amazon, Infosys, Barclay’s, TATA Technologies, Berger, etc. On the other hand, the companies visiting MIT (Maharashtra Institute of Technology) are Amazon, Infosys, Flipkart, Oracle, IBM, Wipro, Microsoft, Reliance, Aditya Birla Group, Tech Mahindra, etc. Package offered MITSOM: INR 26 LPA was the highest salary offered by an international company. Ans. MITSOM and IMED are both premier B schools based in Pune. While both have their own merit, they do differ a lot when it comes to attendance, college timings as well as expenses on books. Here, MITSOM tops IMED in all categories. Moreover, MITSOM also offers a diverse variety of students coming from different countries and states. Additionally, here are some factual points for comparison between the two universities: Eligibility: MITSOM Pune: Students must graduate 10+2 with at least 40% marks to be eligible to apply to the college. Final admission is dependent upon MITSOM College Entrance Test. IMED Pune: Students need to pass a 10+2 examination from any board or its equivalent. Further, admissions are offered on the basis of the combined BBA merit list displayed i.e. based on the marks obtained in the BMAT entrance test.
