Admission to Umes Chandra College is based on the marks obtained by the students in their board exams. Students must have passed 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 and must have English as a mandatory subject with 50% marks. No entrance test is conducted by the college.

Admission process is very simple by online process and entrance exam just for formalities.If you apply for admission,just visit umeshchandra college website and go general notice .everything will give that notice.this is morning college, time 6:00-10:30 am. Application fees per year 5000-6000 approx , application date will given college website under general notice section.college environment very well and every staff very helpful for your anything work or something.

this college gives you proper time for self study
sports facilities provided are quite nice here

the campus is very small with no proper infrastructure
classes do not take place regularly and students are irregular

once the results of 12th is out you have to apply through the online website and their you have to fill the form and according to your board percentage they allot you the college and you can select the preferred branch.

once semester is of 6 months first internal is taken in the course of 3 months which is of 20 marks and then external exam is taken which is of 80 marks. the difficulty of the paper is average the questions are asked which are taught in the class

Honest review of Umeschandra Chandra College

Teachers and the way they teach is pretty reliable, you don't need extra tuitions.
Teachers are helpful and available for students via whatsapp

The rooms are unclean sometimes. Specially the games room.
Sometimes classes get canceled with a very short notice.

The admission process was simple and smooth, first students have to check the website and register themselves and select their desired courses, then they have to wait for their name to appear on the checklist and once they are selected they will receive a message on their phone, then they have to pay the fees and wait for the day of physical document verification. Eligibility: atleast 65% in 12th boards (general) Everything like application form, application fees, and application dates were available on the official website of the college : https://umeschandracollege.ac.in/ I didn't avail myself for a reservation. Exams frequency: every 6 months approx, internal as well as external & practicals. Internal exams are easy to score and external are moderate. Suggestions in admission process: Admission process is simple and smooth, but due to server issues very few students may face difficulty, but generally the issue resolves within 24hrs.

The course is straight forward it's a BCOM degree, and it helps me to prepare for my upcoming CA course. It fits perfectly for the real world, helpful for accounts and financial fields. Though the course is good but there are a few scope of improvement. The number of practical classes are less, they should improve it. The exams are conducted every 6 months and difficulty is easy to moderate.

Umeschandra college Main campus review

Gaming room is well organised and one can spend good times there.

Campus of our college is small little bit. Although extended branch campus is big.

The admission is totally on a Merit basis based on the 12th result. The cut-off for admission to this college ranges between 55-60%. There are some reservations too in the college. Exams are conducted twice a year semester-wise.

The college offers two types of courses B.com general and B.com Honours. Teachers are very supportive and they always support students on future career planning. Although the First 2 years of the examination are easy to pass last year's examination is somewhat tough.

Best college for Bcom if you missed Xavier's.

Affordability of the courses in the college.
The canteen servers tasty food, although not very hygienic but yumm.

The campus life is very boring as it offers nothing.
The college doesn't even have a sports ground.

The admission process was very smooth. However the rush to get admission and all the formalities done were very hectic. Kolkata is very hot and humid during summers and the queue to get the documentation done was very long. We would have to stand in long queue out in the sun as thw campus was too small to handle the rush. I did B.com Hons and the eligibility for the same was to get 75% in 12th board exams. I had applied online for this college. I completed the form online and then all the formalities were done offline once my name came up in final list. Application fees was pocket friendly. I would love to see the documentation process also done online or may be in a phased manner so that crowd could be managed properly. Apart from that the experience was all good.

I wanted to pursue a career in Commerce and Accountancy therefore I selected B.com Hons Course. Being a Marwari, I was among the 8 out of 10 who was interested in doing business and understanding how things work. Faculty was decent, I wouldn't say it was the best, but yes it was manageable. Teachers were knowledgeable but it was more upto the students whether they wanted to study or if the let the teachers teach in class. Exams were conducted yearly and it was a piece of cake.

Attendance is not as necessary in this college that the nice thing about this college .
Student Union are cooperative with the student ...

Office staff are very rude they even doesn't talk to parents properly.
College infrastructure is too bad the bench,desk etc.

Admission was through online portal only no offline facility. There is some seats reserved obs students . The office staff and other members are not coorperative they are very rude . I want to see that the office staff and management must respect each student properly.

I have seen scope while persuing B Com (Hons). Student Ratio in offline has some improvement from previously. Teachers are not like proffesional level. Difficulty of exam depend on person effort how much does he put.

The college teaching staff ,Seniors and all are good,well educated and experienced.
All the toilets and classroom are cleaned and maintained.

the structure of saltlake campus of buuilding are not quite good.

Eligibility - have passed class 12 with at least 60% aggregate marks. Have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board. Have English as a mandatory subject with a passing aggregate of 50% marks. Application Fees - The college doesn't charge any amount for filing the admission form.

faculty is highly qualified and kind, and the course curriculum is relevant and updated and makes student industry- reads. and the atmosphere is also good. The faculty-to-student ratio at this college is 1:9.every year 1500 students are admitted to this college. terms exams are always timely and held two times in a year and level of difficulty was quite medium.

A part from that Most students option for Commerce because they want to take the next step in business and follow the strategies to become successful. All specialised Faculties for every subject, teaching is good and student are engaged. Qualification of the faculty depends on the department of commerce in our college most of faculties complete their m.com, PhD, mba, BA etc.Their methods of teaching are innovative, dynamic and flexible so as to make the process of learning interesting, purposeful and enriching. 2 terms and. Unit test conduct easy to pass.

Descriptive quality of the institute.

I liked the way how the seniors guide their juniors in need of emergency.
Colleges gives us the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities after studies .

Foods sold in the canteen is very unhygenic.
Campus size is quite small which makes us to travel some distances to reach the playground of the college.

Students must have 50% marks in class 12. Application form can be found on https://ucc.com No reservation benefits available. Admission process was vey simple as students must have crossed the criteria to get admission.

This course provides me a vast knowledge about the economy of our country and how the top companies work and how they manage financial condition even if they have faced loss. Faculties are enough to reach each student particularly as there doubt solving sessions are extraordinary. Term exams happen in every 6 months after the new session starts and is very easier to qualify by studying little bit.

UCC Kolkata doesn't provide education loans facility. Also the institute doesn't offer any scholarships to students. Students can apply for education loans in different banks.
