I am in touch with many of my seniors placed in Europe, Dubai, and Canada. The seniors are very well-groomed and speak fluently. They always remain ideal seniors and so did our whole batch with our juniors. Overall it is a very fun-filled relationship.
Very professional and most importantly Stable. I had got to know from some of my friends that faculty used to get replaced very regularly in their institutes but here the faculty remains permanent and that creates a strong bond with each other.
The management is professional and fortunately from Hotel Management Background, unlike other places. It listens and helps all students to grow professionally.
HETPA EXAM is what I applied for and I cleared it in both Written and Personality Round. We had been assigned some challenging tasks in the test to perform and only selected students were asked to join the course after a few days. Admission Process was like we had to deposit around 38000 at the time of admission through Demand Draft and then all payments were made through bank cheques only.
I did not qualify for Scholarship but two of my batchmates availed Bank Loan Facility from the Front Desk Department. I think it was all easily done as they never complained about it ever.
The total fee is 566400 for all three years. In the first year, the fee is 192800. Other expenses are nominal as the fee includes everything like books, uniforms, hotel visits, practicals on a daily basis and most important of all, German Language Classes.
Placement no doubt is 100 % and that is the reason we get quality students here. I did my internship from The Lalit Hotel Jaipur and that too was arranged by the Management so it was all a great learning experience for me and all other batchmates who went to different hotels in India and Abroad.
Hostels are provided by HIIHS nearby the campus and they are well maintained by management and faculty supervisors. They are neat and we are penalized for spoiling them. The food quality is great and many a time we eat in the institute itself as we have regular food practicals. The fee is 5400 per month.
Many but major ones are HICC, Drool Food Fest, Herbarium International Wine Challenge and Freshers Welcome Party. Other events are like Wine Seminars, Special Italian Cuisine Workshops, Front Office Quiz Competitions and Flower Decoration Classes, Diwali Feast, Christmas Carnival, and Modelling ramp walks.
The Campus Life at Herbarium Institute is very rewarding. The first thing I liked is that it is a very beautiful cozy and well-maintained campus with a lot of natural lighting all around and a lot of plants and greenery. I visited some more institutes and found them like too unreal.
Yes, it has to be. If people consider the Herbarium Institute of International Hotel Studies to be a top institute of India, so it has also maintained very high standards of the course curriculum. I mean there is no area left. Be it Kitchens, Front Office, Wines, and Housekeeping, all concepts are planned and the books provided in the course fee are of reputed authors.
