NIBM is a very reputed college in Pune and I had good knowledge in Banking and finance sector Competition is always too much to grab a seat but if you are competent you'll get it so that's what I did and my passion took me here The best thing about the college is industry exposure as well as the experienced faculty.
The college has given 100% placement since its inception. The average has been more than 8 lakhs this year and before, the highest being 18L and lowest 7L. Big four like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, private and foreign banks like RBS, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, JFS, CANFIN, Payment Corporation, NPCI, etc. visited the campus.
The college overall is the best college if you want to pursue a career in banking and financial services. The course curriculum, the faculties, the campus, the student life, etc all is very good.
I always wanted to pursue finance and specially banking so this is the best college in India that provides education on Banking and Financial services. I gave CAT entrance exam and cleared a specified percentile for a call from the Institute after that the Institute follows the process of further admission through Written Ability test and Personal Interview which I cleared and finally got admission into the college.
The placements were good , the college is also good in its field and niche area. Also the reviews are good. The placements are true as per the numbers they display. The knowledge of faculty is also the best one could ask for.
Good. Mailnly in banking and finance , the area is niche. And thus the placements are in Banking and finance field. The placement committe makes sure to bring good companies and banks. There is ample of opportunities for the students for getting placed at their drem company.
The course is very rigorous, now it is good for those who can manage.
Admission to the NIBM is on the basis of CAT exam scores or other management level entrance exams. I scored 84 %ile in the entrance exam and it was not enough to be eligible for the counseling process of the top IIMs. So I attended counseling for NIBM, Pune since I wanted to pursue financial management. Luckily, I was able to crack the proceeding rounds.
Placements are pretty good at our college. The package offered ranges from 6 LPA to 16 LPA. The average package offered us 9 lakhs per annum. NIBM is known for its best-in-BFSI placements. Some of the frequent recruiters include IDBI Bank, Axis Bank, Federal Bank, and HDFC. Most of the recruitments are done for the role of general management and product management.
Every year NIBM admissions are conducted for the students on the basis of cut off declared by NIBM which are out once the entrance results conducted by the college are out. I cleared the cutoff to get admission in the college.
There has been 100% placement in our college since inception with students getting placed in the profiles like risk management, credit analysis and other areas of banking and finance. Companies like Big 4, private banks visits the campus for summer internship and placement. RBI visits the campus for internship.
A very good and memorable college for me. I learned a lot of new things on this college campus and make some really good friends. Teachers of our Institute were also brilliant academicians and guided us very well.
I passed out my graduation with 65% of marks in commerce stream. Then I decided to take admission in this course and appeare in CAT.After 3 attempts I successfully cleared CAT got admission in this college.
More than half of the students get good jobs during the time of placements and job opportunities.I also got my first jobs here at the time of campus interview. Our college teachers helped us a lot in the time of placements.
College management is good whether its education, support, guidance, student-driven clubs and committees.
The college management is active in listening to the requirements or concerns of the students. They make the best possible effort to redress the issues.
