Remarks :
Our college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Veterinary & Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS). The college has good quality of studies. The buildings, in fact, the entire infrastructure is good. The college is responsible for grilling career of many students in the domain of veterinary science.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee for my B. Vet. program (BVSC) was 22K for the first year. It was not much in comparison to other veterinary colleges. The entire course will assimilate to around INR 1 lac. The college provides Animal Feed Analytical and Quality Assurance Laboratory, Computer Lab facility, Hostel Facility, transportation facility, etc.
College Events :
Apart from academics, extracurricular activities are limited. The college does pay attention to some of the sports activities and NSS activities. We also celebrate many national holidays and got to attend many guest lectures from different esteemed universities.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms in the hostels are spacious. We also had the wi-fi connectivity, Water heaters and water purifier facilities.
Campus Life :
Overall the campus life is good, the infrastructure and the buildings are also good. Our institute also have a pretty big library which contains thousands of books and journals for the reference of the students.
Faculty :
The faculty hold the relevant qualification backed by their extensive stock of experience. ICAR and TANUVAS best teachers' awards has also been awarded to the staff members of this institute.
Admission :
The candidates have to apply online through the online portal. The admission is granted on the basis of the basis of class 12 marks. I applied for the reserved seats and got admission on merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was quite thorough and provided an in depth insight about the course. I would definitely recommend this college, simply for the sake of the emphasis they give to the practical learning.
