Yes, I have contact with some alumni, they are well placed at some renowned brand like Titan, fbb, jaipore and many more brands. And of course one has to do lot of hard work to reach the level.

Indian institute of crafts and design is a craft based college
Here, campus life at iicd is very much entertaining. No doubt number of girls are much more than number of boys. But we never distinguished between any students. We all are like a family (so called IICD Family). Their are labs available for each branch, like fashion studio, FMA lab, wood lab, metal lab, weaving lab, sewing lab, printing lab.
Yes, it provides internship in many non profitable art and craft based NGOs like Sahaj, craftisan, chandelaon etc
At end of each semester one have to tackle with jury ( you have to present your whole work of the semester individually to the external and internal faculty mainly a jury panel of 3 or more than 3 jury members). If one is failed in jury means failed in that semester. Other than this their are several assignments one have to submit.
First I filled up the application form online. After that they provided me a provisional admit card to appear for entrance exam. I qualified the exam than I was shortlisted for personal interview and situation test. After some day final list came and I was selected!!
This is craft-based institute. And doing fashion design in from craft institute is much more interesting and challenging. The word craft influenced me to take admission to this college. And after clarifying the entrance test and other processes I am here.
Hostels of iicd is in campus itself. It is available for girls only. The maximum intake is 200-250 girls. Their is cooler available in each room along with three fan. Most of the rooms are four seater. The mess food is good. It is near to hostel. It is hygienic and tasty.
Placement of this college is 100%. Thier are several brands in which alumni are placed like Titan, fbb, jaipore, Raymond and many more. Their are many job opportunities like fashion designer, fashion merchandiser, etc. The minimum package they offer is 17-20k.
There are so many events being held at my college. Some of them are like teej celebration (one of the famous festival of Rajasthan celebrated by women), monsoon party(it is much entertaining), fresher's party, independence day, foundation day(on this day the delicious daal baati churma of Rajasthan is cooked in college), convocation ceremony, and many more like international conference etc..
Comparing to other design colleges , according to me fee of this college is feasible. The yearly expense of tution fee including hotel and mess fee is 3 lac. Around 200000 is tution fee and 100000 is hostel n mess fee. Other than this their are more than 30000 on other study material expenditure.
The faculty of the college takes the students to grass root level to strike the point directly into mind. They put all their efforts to make one understand better. They are really hard working. Too friendly. Each faculty have distinct education in their respective field.
