C. U. Shah Arts College, Ahmedabad was established in 1960 as City Law and Arts College. In 1966, it formed its own identify as City Arts College. It is accredited with 'B' Grade by NAAC. It is managed by Gujarat Law Society - an institute with outstanding contribution to the knowledge sector of Gujarat. C U Shah Arts college one of the thirty-eight educational units of GLS is located close to the Siddi Saiyed mosque a centuries old architectural and cultural monument.
