Under Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad Admission 2020, the college provides few Culinary Education courses at Undergraduate, PG Diploma and Certificate levels such as a 3 year Bachelor of Catering Technology and Culinary Arts, 1 year PG Diploma in Culinary Arts, 1.5 Year Certificate Course in Food Production & Patisserie, Costa Crociere Cruise Chef Courses, P&O Cruises Courses, Princess Cruises Courses, Special Courses with different eligibility criteria and durations as per the course to be chosen.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The basic eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Catering Technology and Culinary Arts is 10+2 from a recognized university with minimum 50% of aggregate marks holding not less than 17 years of age at the time of admissions. Candidate for whom English is not their medium of instruction must demonstrate competency in English in the selection procedure.
  • For the admission to the PG Diploma Course in Culinary Arts, one must have passed the Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Bachelor of Business Management / Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel / Hospitality (with a minimum of two years of Food Production instruction), Graduates in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Business Administration (Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism streams) with at least two years of instruction in food production, B.Sc. Hotel Management, B.A. in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Graduates from any recognized University.
  • All the other courses eligibility criteria depend upon the course & its specialization chosen.

The good thing is the management is very proactive and they always make sure that the quality of education is kept very high and they make sure that the best faculty are hired for the teaching in the technical subjects with practical's. The only thing which I did not like is that they are very strict and run the college as a military academy. But its okay as hotel industry puts a lot of emphasis on discipline and punctuality. We get trained for that type of discipline here in the college itself. I think this is the main reason why most CAI'ns survive in this tough culinary profession. The college tries its best to emulate the industry within the college premises.
