    Placement -
    7 /10

I don't know much about placements because I'm still in my second year of college. But, we have Aspire, which is a totally active placement cell of the college and we get regular updates about internships from there. There is placement portal for the final year students on their website as well. The highest package last year was for 12 lacs and that is pretty amazing after graduation. The average package is around 4-4.5 lakhs per annum. The internship opportunities are also good and we have a bunch of options to apply to.

    Internship -

The internship opportunities provided by the placement cell is beyond amazing. We get paid and unpaid internships both through a regularly updated whatsapp group. The placement cell members are also very helpful and they guide us through everything and I too, got many calls for internship even in my first year.

An average placement package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Various reputed organizations like Ernest & Young, Decathlon, etc., visit the campus each year. Students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester onwards. However, the internship opportunities are open to all.

Our college offers a 50% rate of placement and there is still undoubtedly a long way to go. However it offers a lot of internships by considerably decent companies for 1st years and 2nd years in form of fests held by the academic societies.

The placement cell of our college is not really great. The placements are mostly for vocational courses and Bcom(hons) students. Bachelor's in management studies and Business Economics students don't have really good placements.

    "Internship opportunities"

Bird's eye view : CVS CVS comes under South campus of DU and it is situated at such a comfortable and feasible location for students as there are many nearby places for students to hangout like select city mall, hauzkhas village, Nehru place market. Study structure is almost same in every South campus college but these things like connectivity to college and surroundings make the college life more interesting and memorable. Apart from these CVS is known for its co-curricular activities. College environment & crowd Liberal, lively and competitive environment enabling students to carve out their niche or themselves in their chosen arenas. Placements & internships Average package is...

    "Amazing opportunities"

This college has a very good crowd which attracted me the most. Also, the annual fee of the college is very affordable and we can easily manage our monthly expenses there. The admission process was very slow till last year when it wasn't online. I got to know about these vocational courses which sounded like something different and interesting which no other college in DU has, therefore, I took admission in this college. Being an HRM student, I feel like I made a good decision. The teachers are supportive and experienced. The thing which should been changed in the curriculum is that we get a work environment in college as well; not just books and rote learning.

    "CVS - AN OVERVIEW"

College of Vocational Studies, as the name suggests, is a college famous for its Vocational courses. It is the only College in all of Delhi University which provides a variety of vocational courses. It is situated in Sheikh Sarai, close to Saket. My motive behind choosing CVS over other colleges was the fact that I didn't want to go for the mainstream courses. I wanted a a different major, and the vocational courses in this college did it for me. It offers courses such as, HRM, Tourism Management, Office Management & Secretarial Practices, etc. The infrastructure is nice, and very well spaced. The faculty is top notch, and students have the privilege to be part of various academic and...
