BA (Hons) Bengali course provides an introduction to the Bengali language with emphasis on practical written and spoken Bengali. This course covers tenses, script and sounds, verb morphology, and adverbs, postpositions, noun phrase structure and case, adjectives, conjunctions and basic sentence structure. This course provides candidates with a basis to approach research topics relating to Bengali literature and culture.

Eligibility for BA (Hons) Bengali

Candidates who have completed 10+2 or Intermediate examination from a recognized board in the stream of Arts, Science, or Commerce with the Bengali language are eligible.
