Ques. How is NMIMS Mumbai for BBA?

● Top Answer By Preeti Rastogi on 10 Jun 21

Ans. With various international accreditations, NMIMS, Mumbai is a top-notch management institute in India. My brother completed his BBA from this institute. Here are some highlights you need to know. The institute has consistently maintained its NAAC rating of 3.5+ for the last 15-20 years. The institute also has a location advantage, as Mumbai is a house to numerous multinational companies. Thus, many reputed companies visit NMIMS for campus placement in which about 80-90% of the students get placed successfully.  The average CTC ranges from 4-5 LPA while the highest CTC is 12 LPA. NMIMS has a very well-designed BBA curriculum that lets you remain engaged with interactive studying based on projects and presentations. Also, the faculty is great in providing you best learning experience. Overall, NMIMS Mumbai is a great choice for pursuing BBA. Being one of the top B-schools in India, you will be getting a good return on your investment. Once you enroll in this college, you will realize that you have made the right decision.Read more

Ques. Can I get the first shift for BBA at Maharaja Surajmal Institute?

● Top Answer By Pablo Patranobish on 31 May 21

Ans. Maharaja Surajmal institute has one of the best campuses in IPU and the best institute for BBA in IP university. It is one of the top 3 colleges of IPU. I have a few friends at the institute, so I can give you some idea about the course.  With a rank of 2500, you would get in easily in the first counseling itself. With around 55% marks in English in your 12th and a rank of 3000 or below, you should get in the first shift without much problem.  The infrastructure and faculty is average for BBA and the course costs around 2.65 lakhs. Read more

Ques. Would people recommend Alliance University for a BBA?

● Top Answer By Rashika Saraf on 30 May 21

Ans. A relative of mine is an alumnus of Alliance University and he is not sure about recommending the institute as a suitable option for academics.  If you study in this institute it can give causes for uncertainty. There are a lot of options you can look for. International business is offered as a major in MBA. But it fails to attract a sizable number of students to its campus. This goes for Alliance University in general as well.  If your goal is to join a business school then this university should not be on your list. There are far better business schools in the country. There is no entrepreneurship specialization either in Alliance University.  Categories BBA at Alliance University Course Fee 6 lakh Highest CTC 7.2 LPA Average CTC 5-6 LPA Recruiting Companies Byju’s, Federal Bank, Amazon, Nestle, etc. My cousin got trapped in the infrastructure of the university. The surroundings are not safe as the university is practically located in a village. The security staff is very ill-mannered.Read more

Ques. What is the average package for BBA in NMIMS?

● Top Answer By Asutose Ghose on 20 May 21

Ans. My brother graduated last year from NMIMS after successfully completing his BBA with a specialization in the Finance domain.  Here are the key highlights of the placement records and academics at NMIMS. You will enjoy the high-quality curriculum delivered by the top-notch faculty. Placements are not at par with the records shown by the university. Although a lot of companies visit NMIMS due to their brand name, the actual scenario is not that good as people would expect. My cousin was one of those students who somehow got placed in Deloitte with a much lower package.  In his batch, the pay packages offered were rather poor. The only exception was 3 students, 2 of which got into an investment bank (9 LPA each), and the other 1 got around 4.5 LPA. Rest all the placed students got 3 LPA or even less than that. According to the student reviews, the average CTC offered in the 2020 placements was 4-5 LPA. You will face stiff competition too, as there is a high intake of 240 (BBA)+60(BCom) students out of which most of them will opt for registration in no time. Therefore do not get driven by the official placement statistics provided by the university. The actual scenario is quite different as mentioned above. However, if you manage to excel in academics along with lots of extracurricular activities, you can grab pretty good packages.Read more

Ques. Is NM BMS better or NMIMS BBA?

● Top Answer By Nisha Karmakar on 19 May 21

Ans. Having friends from both institutes, I can say that among the two, BBA from NMIMS seems to be a better choice.  The points below give a brief overview of both advantages and disadvantages of both the institutes: The NM College functions under the guidance of Mumbai University and follows its curriculum.  The course structure followed in NMIMS is based on projects and research. Due to much more self-control of NMIMS, it is preferred over NM College. There is a decent project-based learning approach in NMIMS, which is not the case in NM College due to the Mumbai University affiliation. Categories BMS at NM College BBA at NMIMS Course Fee 46.13 K 8.29 lakh Placement Percentage 80% 60% Highest CTC 10-12 LPA 9 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA 4.5 LPA Recruiting Companies KPMG, Barclays, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Infosys, etc. Dell, HCL, EY, JP Morgan, etc. Comparing the placement statistics of both the institutes, NM College is on the higher side, offering good roles in the industry to students. It is one of the most established commerce colleges. Both the institutes have some points of advantage, and some points of disadvantage too. It is, therefore, a neck-to-neck choice, and depends upon the expectations of the candidate from the course he/she opts for.Read more
