    • Students should read newspapers, informative materials, etc. to increase their general knowledge and awareness.
    • Students should prepare while practicing last year’s question papers and model test papers. Pattern of the exam should be well known to the students appearing for the exam so that they don’t get confused during the exam.
    • Students should have good preparatory material with themselves. Always study from the latest updated books.
    • Interact with your teachers and seniors who have already given the exam and ask them about their experience so that you can get an idea about many factors that might be causing the decline in the performance.
    • Student’s drawing and creative skills should be impressive enough to score well in that part.
    • Keep a track of all the important dates and exam patterns for different universities/ institutes.
    • For online mode exams (like UCEED), students should have solved model test papers so that they can get an idea of what it would be like on the exam day.

How to get BDes admission in a good college?

    • Students can secure a place in a good college if they have scored high marks in any of the entrance exams. Number of seats for BDes students in government colleges is less, therefore higher the scores, the better are the chances of admission in elite institutes like NIFT, NID, IIT-IDC, MITID, etc.
    • Performance in the Personal Round/Interview Round should be impressive and your creative skills should be at par so that the panel is impressed with your idea, thoughts and skills, apart from your personality and general awareness.
