Sir Syed college has great faculties they are highly qualified and very friendly towards everyone we just need to leave a message to our teachers they will provide everything with in a time and there a lot of facilities to everyone exams are moderated if we study we can pass easily or it is but difficult

Bsc forestry is a unique course in our state only fue colleges are providing it the main reason I choose this course is because of the pattern of this course this is field oriented course we have to look towards everything in forest it is so much fun and very interesting to study

There is not yearly fees we want to pay fees semester after semester.As I am first graduate my semster fees range from 15000 to 20000 and there is a community scholarship opportunity.My other batchmates those who not first graduate want to pay around 20000 to 25000. Scholarship provided by here is community reservation scholarship for merit students.

There is the new method called ward counseling for every 5 students there one staff to consult if there is any problem.I like all the staffs in the college their teaching caring and etc... there is lot of model test conducted by the staffs If we study hard we could crack the system.It is the wonderful course that relates what we expected.

I think ist a great course to connect with nature. And i can always feel nature. It is a great feeling . It always make me exited to know about animals plants and more things about nature . And i can learn more and more about my mother nature .

They are great faculties. They teach us very properly and also focus on practical knowledge. This was the great experience i ever learn form this university. Our faculties are very friendly with us.and also motivate to do study.

Our university teachers ratio 1:33 but some department less six facilities I liked most of the facilities in our university majority of them are very friendly especially in my department, the department of Forestry. The Department of Economics, Department of Forestry, Department of Physics, Department of Pharmacy, Department of Forensic science, Department of Physical Education, Department of Anthropology, Department of Biotechnology, Department of Library Science, Department of Management. These are the best faculties in our university. The teachers assist us on our problems. I like the most of the teacher and facilities are there everyone there are very friendly There are ther so many class test be done every department. There are two internal exams first one is written and second one is assignment. Each of the internal contain 15 marks. Then then there is a 70 mark exam in in our end sem

There are mainly four club chalchitra the media and short film club, Tarang the university band, abhinarthan University dancing club, urchins University drama club. the club are so active Most of the class have projector and smart bord University sports are so good NSS from there working a lot

We are 25 students with 7 faculties , 3 professors , 3 Ass. Professors and 1 Associate , along with number of Scholar , all are approachable , supportive , all are good but AK Negi sir , JS Butola sir are my favorite probably they were my supervisor . There is nothing to dislike the faculties . Exams are moderate , every one who study a bit can easily clear . Curriculum is very relevant as it is ICAR approved

Yearly fee is 4000 including other miscellaneous apart from that 750 per semester exam fee to be paid , fee is same for every category , National Scholarships for SC,ST,OBC students provided amount varies according the various schemes . Faculty is good , best in class facilities of labs and field works in full equipped nursery , field visits , tours , fest and clubs for extra curricular are absolutly free .

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach and also for students to learn.. curriculum is very good we hav five subjects in each semester.. Exams are not so tough its easy and there are also practical exams which are taken after internal exams..

Campus life is pretty good.. i get to know many new things and i am happy because the college life is good but other hand it is struggling too.. there is no ragging in the college and the college campus students are very friendly

Students become eligible for placement in the final year final semester. Different companies come for placement and also number of offers. Among which a package upto 12lakhs being the highest among the placement offers. Out of 10 students approximately 6 students get selected which is a very good number. I have already graduated from this college and I am planning for further studies.

The college conducts a variety of fests out of which freshers meet is the first one in which the mr and miss is selected and after that one of the famous fest in the college is racaf in which students display variety of talent through every walk of life. In this college sports is considered very important. The college is run by the student union of NERIST also called Sun

Fee structure is good but if we are not ckearlung dues on time then we are not allowed to give exams whether its external means university exams or whether it is internal college practicals. No college scholarship only government schools in which no role of college is there. There is only financial assistance for Aircraft Maintenance engineering course not for other courses. There is college campus employees of social media handler and in admission cell call handler. Nothing else

Internship opportunities are as per mentioned on course syllabus and its mostly zero stipend But for hotel management studenfs its sometimes stupend is given as per the work. For my course we did our internship for zero stipend and travel with our on expenses and now our course is no longer available in this college and we are happy for it.

The course is very much affordable and 3500 is the per semester fees and the semester is of 6 months and it is satisfactory but mess fees is quite higher and we can't skip it and it creates a loophole for side earning of some associated officials too

There are political youth parties like abvp, brotherhood and samarpan etc.and alsmost each department organises fest like spectra and arts fest and law fest and forestry primer league and a big and spacious auditorium is provided

The Curriculum Is Designed Not Just To Complete The Bachelor's Degree Only. It Is Designed Keeping In Mind That If Any Student Want To Prepare For Competitive Exams So They Are Ready For Optional Subjects. As In Our Course The Optional Subjects Required For Indian Forest Services Exam Are Included In Our Curriculum. Also If Anyone Wants To Go For M.Sc And PhD Then There Are Multiple Subjects Available For Masters And Doctorate. After Completing Graduation A Student Will Be Able To Stand For And IFS Exam Also If They Are Not Opting For Govt Jobs. Then They'll Be This Able That They Can Open A Business Related To Mushroom Production, Bamboo Products, Honey Production, Timber Production, Nursery Etc As Same Of The Trainings Are Provided During The Course. There Is Not Improvement Required In Course And The Teaching Methods As Everything Is Going Well. The Frequency Of Exams Is Every 6 Months And In Six Months 2 Mid Terms And 1 Final Exam With Practicals Is Done With A Good Difficultly.

Yearly Tech Fest Is Conducted In May Month. Hackathon And Tech Fest Are Also Conducted By B.Tech Department. Forestry Premier League Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi Both Boys And Girls By The School Of Natural Resources. The Accessibility Towards 40,000 Books In One Single Tap In The Central Library Digital Lab Of GGV And 10,000+ Books Are Available Offline In GGV Central Library. Also Good Amount Of Books Are Also Available Including Foreign Journal In The Departmental Library. There are many activities of this type. There are many festivals here, national conferences, many things related to studies keep happening and there are many extracurricular activities as well. There is a lot of gaming as well.

I am doing Bachlor in forestry. The course from here is related to forest It comes in the agriculture field. It has a lot of scope. In this, we can do well in the agriculture field related to it.it is good for future scope

My course is very affordable and low maintenance. The yearly fees is only upto rupees three thousand. It makes the course affordable for every student. Living in Srinagar is a little expensive as this is a mountain based place.

The course I am pursuing is bachelors degree in forestry which is an honours course . I personally want this course to give more opportunities to wander in the rural areas for better possibilities in the future.

The fee structure is good and affordable and even middle class people also can afford to study in this institution and there is also hostel services for students form outer States and the scholarship there is some program like ch scholarship program

The campus is good and clean and it is surrounded by full of trees and habitat and there is huge library in the campus where all books are present there is huge campus and smart class and many teachers are present there

Kumaun University offers a diverse range of courses with curriculum and faculty varrying across programmes university is known for its field work activities and practicals that are important for selective courses. For specific fees and faculty you can check on kumaun university website they will provide a wide knowledge and all things about that.

Life at kumaun university is enriching with mix of acadeand social experience.the social life often revolves student interaction and events. Overall campus environment is very good whole campus i surrounded with nature and with a beautiful environment of nainital city.

Course - bsc forestry syllabus is well defined based on the new syllabus from the year 2020 batch for affiliation with icar. Involves compulsory 4 months internship in the final year (4 year course) Faculty - total 9 + guest lecturers They are very experienced and one of the very dedicated to their work. Teaching is through presentation, notes, experiences and learning from practical activities. Exam- mid sem and end sem in between each semester. Involves Quizes and practicals.

For fee structure, forstry can be persued with the amount of 5530 per semester. Semester fee is 3030 without other fees like examination fees, medical expenses, extracurricular activities, etc. According to the facilities provided in the college, the amount is reasonable. The North Eastern Council (NEC) also provides scholarship to the students of the region for their study at Degree and higher levels. The students can also apply for various scholarships schemes available to them as per eligibility through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The continuance of scholarship is subject to the following conditions: (i) His/her maintenance of discipline in the Institute is consistently good and he/she is regular in the classes. Unauthorized absence from the Institute/Hostel is treated as a lapse of discipline. (ii) Satisfactory progress in his/her studies. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA.

Cultural fest - Racaf in November , technical fest - shristi in may, general freshers meet in August , synergy in february, general farewell in may. Most if ther reference books are available in the library. Library is well maintained and provided free wifi. Classroom are wellaned, ventilated, provided with proper number of bench desk according to student, and some are fillted with projector. Sports and extracurricular activities are organised by Gymkhana. Each and every students get the chance to take part. It includes many events both for boys and girls. Events include football, basketball, cricket, football for girs, carrom, chess, tug of war and many others. Other activities like marathon, technical fest, cultural feat, blood donation camp, no plastic drives, etc also conducted. Every state have their own union as social group and for overall college, we have student union of nerist.

The annual fest name is Rcaf and syrengy . Technical fest is Shristi. Racaf conducted on November month and synergy conducted on February. And shristi conducted on April. Books & journals is not available in the Library. Amenities in classroom are not good.

Forestry is professional and interesting course. Faculty: student ratio is 1:3 Qualification of faculty have PhD. And teaching method is good. Exams term have 2 terms . Midsem & endsem. Exams pass is mild difficult.

Bsc forestry is a unique course were we can connect to nature and our old ancestors roots . The ratio of faculty in nerist is 2:4 Qualification of the faculty is high they all are PhD rank holders Exams are taken 2 times in a sem

Cost of study is not much in nerist Per semester is cost around 6k And mess fees is extra In nerist we get opportunities to Lear many new things and get field experience also There is no such scholarship from college

The annual festivals include a General Freshers Meet, Racaf or Sonabyss, Synergy for sports and Shristi as a tech fest. All necessary books are available in the central library with the semester curriculum related books provided by the book bank. All classrooms are provided with ambient lighting, ceiling fans, desks and benches or chairs. The campus provides a gym, football ground, basketball and batminton courts, extracurricular rooms for music clubs etc.

The course is based under the ICAR curriculum. All the faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable with various achievements and papers under their names. The course provides a kneen knowledge of the importance of forest in the improvement of our living conditions. The terminal examinations are a bit intensely planned but can be cracked if preparations are made regularly with regular attendance in classes. The faculty:student ratio is ideal.
