Bachelor of Science [B.Sc.] (Medical): What is it About?

Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Medical is a 3 year course that is designed for those willing to make a career in medical field. Graduates can get placed in medical universities, hospitals and conduct an array of lab experiments. Medical science students learn about the following topics:

  • In depth about the human body
  • Develop skills and expertise on how the human body functions
  • Analyze how the body responds to disease and the drugs used to treat disease
  • Students during the course of the study may take an additional year that includes medical research.

Graduates may enter a diverse range of career fields like clinical medicine, academic research, pharmaceuticals and consulting roles. To further hone their skills in medical studies, they may go on to study further at post graduate level. After this PG degree, they may get placed in reputed research institutes of India and abroad.

Students are further trained in the technological aspects of medical care while studying B. Sc. Medical. This lays a good scientific foundation for the students and helps them to make better decisions. The graduates are in a position to assist the physician or surgeon during a critical operation. They are capable to carry out research in high-tech medical procedures that are required by the healthcare industry globally.
