You can pursue a BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) course from IGNOU through distance education mode. The college does not offer a 4-year BSc Nursing course. To secure admission in this open university, a candidate must fulfill the following given educational criteria.
- In-Service Nurses, for example, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Midwives, must have cleared 10+2 with three years of recognition in General Nursing and Midwifery and at least two years of involvement with the calling.
- For male attendants who have not done maternity care in the GNM program, they must have an endorsement in any nursing course of 6 to 9 months term, recommended by the Indian National Council in lieu of Midwifery.
