Master of Arts (MA) in Public Administration is a multidisciplinary post-graduate course offered at Social Science departments at Universities in India. Students who have successfully completed their Bachelor degree program are eligible for admission to this course.

The course is of 2 years duration. Each year is divided in 2 semesters. For correspondence programs, the minimum duration is 2 years and maximum duration to complete the program is 5 years.

The tuition fee for the course varies according to the university but generally falls in the bracket of INR 5000 to 4 Lacs for 2 years. After an MA in Public Administration, various career opportunities open up in the fields of finance, administration and organizational governance.

Eligibility Of the Master of Arts [MA] (Public Administration)

The basic eligibility for admission to MA in Public Administration, is a Bachelor’s degree in any stream of minimum 3 years duration.

The minimum percentage required is 50% or equivalent CGPA. However, the minimum percentage required may be different for various institutes. 

How to Get Admission in Master of Arts [MA] (Public Administration)

The admission to MA in Public Administration is through a subject-specific Entrance Test which is conducted by offering universities respectively. Some of the universities which conduct entrance test for admission to MA public Administration course are:
