Most of the colleges providing MBA Digital Marketing courses follow an entrance based admission process. The Admission Process is done in the following steps

  • Step 1: Applications for Entrance Exam: The student is required to select colleges in which he/she wants to apply and check which entrance exams they conduct and then apply for those entrance exams accordingly. It is advised to give CAT since almost all the colleges accept CAT scores.
  • Step 2: Declaration of Results and Cutoffs: The conducting body will release the results of the candidates. After the results are declared, the individual colleges will release cutoff marks for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Digital Marketing

 The eligibility criteria for admission in MBA Digital Marketing is stated below:

  • The program requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA (a relaxation of 5% is granted to SC/ST candidates) from any recognized university/college/institute.
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (relaxation of 5% is granted to SC/ST candidates) in their Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates passing nationalized entrance exams like CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT or other equivalent entrance examinations are eligible to apply for the MBA digital marketing program.

  • CAT: Common Admission Test ( CAT) is conducted by IIMs. The Eligibility criteria is 50% marks in Graduation for General candidates and 45% for Reserved candidates. The exam evaluates Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.

Now, with newer IIMS coming up, you will have wider options to choose from. As far as marketing is concerned, both colleges are quite well known for the subject. Ans. From my experience, IMT Ghaziabad is definitely a better bet than SCMHRD. From what everyone knows, to date, IMT Ghaziabad is a very well-recognized brand as compared to SCMHRD and has consistently remained the same. IMT G: If you are particularly looking to pursue a degree in marketing, IMT G is the best offer and is much more recognized than any major you might want to pursue at SCMHRD. You can also think of opting for business analytics, however, it is a niche course. Marketing is much more focused as compared to other core courses offered at any other B school. If you are passionate enough about a subject, you should definitely go ahead with it even if it is a niche field.  SCMHRD: SCMHRD is one of the best institutes under the Symbiosis schools. Ans. Well, the answer is always a big yes; however, one of my friends has told me about the promising scenarios, considering this question. The followings are the list of that possible synopsis. Suppose a student got a job offer with 6 LPA CTC (although he or she is a fresher and has an upright educational background). It will be better if they try again to get an opportunity to study in good IIMs. Suppose a student has several years of experience, approximately 3 years, and has a good educational score. But he or she is not interested to do MBA in ongoing years, then it will be better if they try to get admission in IIMS, or else they can take admission in IMT. Besides, if the student is not satisfied with the job he or she gets and is interested in a marketing profile, they can grab the opportunity to join IMT. If the student wants to get knowledge in marketing and sales profile, obviously, they join IMT. One thing should always be remembered that the student has to hard work to achieve his or her ultimate goals, and then they will definitely get a good hike in their previous salary. <>/divRead more

Placement Experience :

Campus selection is very high in the college. After 5th-semester student eligible for campus placement. Aprox 80% of student selected for placement as their performance. Aprox 10000 to 50000 offered to students. After getting a degree I want to run a digital media agency.

Internships Opportunities :

Many media agencies offered an internship to students for 1 to 3 month as a stipend as a content writer, graphic designer, from 10k to 30k as per their abilities. Handle social media accounts according to their business.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Average fees, Better knowledge, Better opportunities. Easy methods of practical knowledge. Faculties provide knowledge for career, internship. Co operative management, Good ratings, Experienced trainers.

Placement Experience :

Through the alumni record, one can have the idea of the placement records. However, after I joined this college, I got the confirmation of the placement record which has been 100% from past 3 years. The top employers that offer jobs to our department include Genpact, Just dial, Hindustan Unilever limited, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of America, JCB and others. The highest package offered to my senior last year was 15 lakhs per annum. Post completion of MBA program, the career opportunities are in Indian and Global Corporate, reputed NGOs, management consultancy, as specialist officers, entrepreneurship, and others. Moreover, I have thought of getting placed in good organisation and so I am preparing myself accordingly to clear all the rounds in one go.

Campus Life :

My campus life at this college is going vibrant as I have got all the facilities of infrastructure. Apart from that, my colleagues and room partners in he hostel are too co-operative and brilliant. Further, the happenings in the college keep us motivated to take part in various community programs like working with NGOs, river cleaning, environmental initiatives. Moreover, we are encouraged to join clubs as per our interest. So we have raagrang - music club, dramebaaz - theatre club, samarthya - entrepreneurship club, satrangi strokes - painting clubs and others as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of our department contains a skill development module in each quadmester. Each course consists of practical assessments and group projects through which we gain both hands-on experience as well as conceptual knowledge. In this, our faculties play significant role imparting management knowledge along with the practical knowledge through workshops, team based activities, management games and many more. Also, they help us in developing the ability to take challenges and solve business problems.

Faculty :

Faculty are awesome and pretty cool. They all had an ample amount of corporate experience, which helped us get corporate exposure right there in the campus. The faculty members are very helpful and considerate. Their career guidance has been impeccable and the style of teaching is orthodox yet effective.

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty good and we are being provided with the proper interview training. Virtual Voyage has corporate tie-ups with the many big brands from the media industry including NDTV, Viacom, MTV, Hindustan Times, etc. The packages are also good.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The annual fee is around 22k to be paid annually. It was a dream place to be, for the people who want to pursue a career in the event management or media industry at a managerial level. And that too at an affordable price.
