The major recruiters at IISC include Microsoft, Flipkart, Adobe, Qualcomm and government agencies like HP and Bharat Petroleum. The average placement package offered in the 2019 placement drive was 15 lakhs. The internship hiring of the 2020-21 batch had the highest stipend of 1.15 lakh per months while the average was 57,000/- per month.  The average placement rate for MTech at IITM was 66% in the 2019 placement drive. Given below are a few factors which the students are required to consider before selecting between the two colleges:- Placement: In terms of placement, the average CTC of IIT Bhubaneswar stands out to be 11.5 lakhs/annum. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, IBM, etc visit the IIT Bhubaneswar campus for placement drive. Few well-known PSU named ISRO, IOCL, and ONGC were also part of the placement in 2019. Apart from the offered jobs, the final year students are offered internships with a good amount of pay.
