MFA is a postgraduate course in the study of visual and performing arts. A candidate has to be a Bachelor of Fine Arts from a recognised university in order to be eligible for this course.

How to Get Admission in Master of Fine Arts [MFA]

Admission to the programme is based on Entrance Exam and/or Merit marks in qualifying examination followed by a personal interview. Few colleges taking Entrance Exam for Fine Arts are Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi and Aligarh Muslim University

AMUET: Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Test application forms are available in the months of April and May. While the Entrance Exam and the process that follows take place in the month of June. Application forms are available offline and have to be collected from the college.

Entrance Exam

The exam consists of two papers: Theory and Practical. The theory paper consists of 60 questions consisting of both of objective and descriptive questions.

This entrance exam will be of 4 ¼ hours.

There is no negative marking for the exam.
