Masters in Science in Dairy Engineering is a post-graduation course to employ the concept of engineering in dairy products. The concept involves handling milk from production and consumption and includes processing, packaging, storage, transport and physical distribution. The duration of the course is 2 years. The eligibility of the course is graduation in this or any other stream.

A qualification for admission to Master in Dairying program is a Bachelor’s degree from any university recognized by the Institute, in the relevant subject with percentage based on category and institute. Also the candidate must have passed 10+2 with streams like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
The admission is carried out using entrance exam as a medium in most of the cases. For some cases, an option for direct admission is also available where mode of admission is percentage obtained during graduation.
