To pursue a Ph.D. course in Kannada the candidate should have bachelor’s degree in Kannada from recognized university. Also the masters in Biology/Pharmacy and Kannada or the relevant stream with aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid PHD entrance test along with the interview. However, this condition is relaxed to 50% in case of SC/ST candidates.
Although an undergraduate degree or a master's degree in Kannada may be helpful for admission, most programs only require prospective students to have completed a year or more of college-level Kannada. While not required, some programs also recommend that students complete courses in statistical analysis before applying.
