Eligibility for PG in Systems

For graduation, students are usually required to write and defend a thesis- a long paper that is the culmination of one’s specialized research. The minimum eligibility criteria required to be fulfilled for admission to the course are:

  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation (under 10+2+3 scheme) from a recognized university, which exempts candidates from the necessity of appearing for entrance test for admission.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation for appearing in the relevant test (MAT/ CAT/CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA / any other State level test) to be eligible for the interview. There is no set cut off score.
  • Interested candidates who have not appeared in any of the mentioned tests and with less than 50% in graduation, are required to appear in the Aptitude tests conducted by different universities periodically. They may be given provisional admission on the basis of an undertaking stating they would appear in the Aptitude Test whenever finalized.

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university, international/ SAARC graduates from a recognized/ accredited university/ institution, besides students studying for the final year degree course and yet to pass the final year examination can also apply, subject to completion of graduation in the relevant academic year within the time period specified by SCDL.
