    AIPVT (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) 2019 Application Form will be available at the official website, www.aipvt.vci.nic.in starting from January 2019 (tentative).  It is conducted by VIC (Veterinary Council of India) every year for admission in B.V.Sc & A.H degree courses. AIPVT has now been replaced by NEET examinations.

    Note: From 2017, AIPVT All India Pre-Veterinary Test has been replaced by the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) only organize admission procedure (counselling) for providing admission to the BV. Sc. & A.H. degree program. Click here to check details about NEET 2019
    • The mode of application form filling is expected to be online only.
    • Candidates can register themselves for AIPVT 2019 through the official website once the registration forms are available.
    • A unique profile is created for every candidate on the basis of the details in application form.
    • General Category Candidates will have to pay an application fee of INR 1500 & for reserved Category candidates application fee will be INR 750.
    • Documents such as candidate’s photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression have to be uploaded.
    • Candidates need to pay an additional fee of INR 750 for late registration.  

    Eligibility must be checked by the candidates to appear for AIPVT 2019. By conducting this test, Veterinary Council of India fills the 15% All India quota seats (except Jammu & Kashmir) & 85 % state seats in veterinary colleges. This exam is conducted once in a year. Candidates will get all the required information about the exam through this post.

    AIPVT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for AIPVT  2019 as mentioned below. Any candidates found not satisfying the eligibility criteria will be removed from the process thereafter.

    1. Nationality:

    • Applicant must be an Indian citizen & have done its education in India.
    • Candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir state are not eligible for 15% quota seats. If candidates claim eligibility for same then they have to upload self-declaration document.

    2. Qualification:

    • Candidates must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent from recognized Board or university.
    • Physics, chemistry, Biology and English are the Compulsory subjects to apply for the exam.
    • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in PCB subjects.
    • Appearing candidates can also fill the form, but they need to provide the passing certificate by during the selection process later.
    • Candidates should have a good academic record.

    3. Age Eligibility:

    • The minimum age of Candidates must be 17 years as on or before 31st December 2017.
    • The upper age limit of Candidates is 25 years ( 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

    How to Fill AIPVT 2019 Application Form?

    Before applying for AIPVT 2019, candidates must read the information brochure carefully. AIPVT 2019 Application Form will be available online on the official website www.aipvt.vci.nic.in from the 2nd week of January 2019 (tentative). Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 1500 for the registration or to get a slot for AIPVT, while reserved category candidates need to pay INR 750 for the application process.

    To fill the application form of AIPVT 2019, Candidate must follow the following steps:

    AIPVT Application process

    Step 1: New User Registration

    Fresh Candidates applying for the exam are required to register with a fresh email id and contact number at the website using the mentioned steps.

    • Go to the Official link on the official website i.e., www.aipvt.vci.nic.in
    • Click on “New User” tab to get the registration form.
    • Enter your email id and basis details
    • Once the email id gets registered, Candidate has to login again to complete the registration process.
    • When you logged in, you will finally land up on the page where you need to fill all the required details for the registration process.
    • Enter the required details and press submit.
    • The system will auto-generate you a registration number and mail the same information at your registered email id and contact number for documentation and verification.

    Step 2: Application Form Filling:

    This is the step where you actually provide all the details that create your profile for the exam. It helps the authorities judge your eligibility, your medical standards, your previous educational qualifications and other important details.

    • Once registration process gets completed candidates need to check their mail id to get the password.
    • Candidate needs to login again as a registered user by entering registered id and password.
    • Fill all the required information in application form carefully.
    • Candidate must note down the application number.
    • Once completing the application process candidate will be eligible to get the admit card for the exam.

    Step 3: Uploading Documents

    This is the final step in creating your profile for the exam. With your photograph and signature scanned, you can be easily identified and thus it makes the process smooth.

    • Candidates need to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, thumb impression, parent’s signature and self -declaration (if applicable).

    Step 4: Payment Procedure

    In this step, candidate need to pay the application fee for the exam.

    • Once done with uploading the documents, candidates to select the mode of payment.
    • General Candidates need to pay INR 1500 as application fee.
    • For reserved category students i.e., SC/ST/PH and ex-servicemen are required to pay INR 750 as application fee for the exam.
    • Candidate can pay the application fee via online mode (i.e., credit card/debit card/ net banking)
    • Candidates can also pay the application fee in any branch of Vijaya Bank.
    • After completing the application form, candidates must take print out of the confirmation page for the future references.
    • Candidate must retain the registered mail id and mobile number till the admission procedure gets done.

    Candidates applying for AIPVT 2019 are required to provide the following details in Application Form. The details to be provided range from Personal Details to educational background and medical history.

    Application Form Correction

    AIPVT 2019 Application Form editing option is expected to be available from 2nd week of January 2019. The window for editing mistakes in AIPVT 2019 Application Form will stay live till the 2nd week of March. This facility for form correction in AIPVT 2019 Application Form will be available for students who has completed online application process in all aspects i.e. paid examination fee online.

    All Students must note that they can change all data in AIPVT 2019 Application Form except email ID, mobile number, date of birth and address details. So, candidates are required to remember these details or they can note down this information for the future references till the admission procedure is over.


    Retrieving Application Form and Password

    AIPVT is conducted by VIC which communicates through registered email ID and contact number. In case candidates forget their Application Form number or any other such details, they must report to the exam authorities immediately. Also, if they are unable to find the same from their registered ID and contact number, they must report to the exam authorities at the contact helpline number mentioned on the official website i.e. www.vci.nic.in.

    FAQ’s

    Question 1- Who can apply for the exam?

    Answer- Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent, with 50% marks in Physics, chemistry and Biology can apply for the exam.

    Question 2- Who conducts the AIPVT exam?

    Answer- Veteran Council of India conducts the AIPVT exam.

    Question 3- Where can I get the application form?

    Answer- Candidates can get the application form online on official website from 2nd week of January.

    Question 4- Students from which states will get consider in 85% state quota seats in exam?

    Answer- Haryana, Manipur and Rajasthan will be considered in state quota seats.

    Question 5- What is the examination date?

    Answer- Examination date of the exam is expected to be in 2nd week of May 2019 tentatively.

    Question 6- What is the exam duration?

    Answer- AIPVT Exam will be of 3 hours duration.

    Question 7- What can be the exam timings?

    Answer- As per previous years happening, the exam timings is likely to be 2 P.M to 5 P.M.

    Question 8- I am from Jammu & Kashmir, Can I apply for the 15% All India Quota seats?

    Answer- Candidate from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for the 15% All India Quota seats as the provisions of Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 have not yet extended to the Jammu & Kashmir. If Candidates claim eligibility then they need to submit a self-declaration for the same.

    Question 9- How many times a candidate can apply for the exam?

    Answer- There is no limit, Candidate can apply as many times as they want till the maximum age limit occurs.

    Question 10- Is there any negative in AIPVT exam?

    Answer- Yes, for each correct answer candidate will get 4 marks and there will be deduction of 1 mark for each negative response.

    Question 11- What is the syllabus for AIPVT 2019?

    Answer- Syllabus for exam comprises of physics, chemistry and biology up to 11th & 12th level.

    Question 12- What is the mode of conduct of AIPVT 2019 exam?

    Answer- The AIPVT exam will be a Pen- Paper based test, as it conducts in offline mode.

    Hello Darshankumar, Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will organize admission procedure for providing admission to the BV. Sc. & A.H. degree programme. It is organized in name of AIPVT 2018. It is a national level admission procedure. From 2017, AIPVT was replaced by the NEET exam. Now, the admission to the veterinary courses will be done on the basis of NEET 2018 score. The admission into this course will be done under the 15 % All India Quota seats (except Jammu & Kashmir). Under 15% AIQ, total 434 seats are available. In this article, candidates can get complete details about AIPVT 2018 including application, eligibility, schedule, counselling, etc.
