All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is scheduled on May 14, 2019. AIPVT 2019 exam is an offline based entrance. Veterinary Council of India conducts AIPVT for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course. The admission is done on the basis of total 15% seats under All India Quota and the other 85% state-wise quota available on all the recognized institutes enlisted under The Veterinary Council of India across national level.

AIPVT 2019 Exam Pattern Highlights Table

AIPVT 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern consists of the following elaboration:

  • Type of Questions: The AIPVT 2019 question paper will consist of total 180 multiple choices based and re-assertion type questions.
  • Answer Strategy: There will be four options given against every question. Candidates have to tick one particular option which they think is the correct option.
  • Language to be used: The medium of language used in the question paper will be English and Hindi.
  • Marking Scheme: There is will a total of 4 marks allotted for every correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be subtracted for every wrong answer.
  • Time Duration: The total time duration of the AIPVT 2019 will be of 3 hours.

AIPVT 2019 Marking Scheme

The marking pattern comprises of negative and positive marking. The candidates who satisfy both the criteria are eligible for further admission procedure. As there is no section-wise cut off allotted for each section of the question paper, there is no good attempt and cut offs. Thus, it is mandatory for the candidates to attempt all the 180 questions in the question papers.

Each correct attempt will be awarded 4 marks, whereas, each incorrect answers will be given -1. There is no such marking applicable for un-attempted questions.

AIPVT 2019 Syllabus

The syllabus of AIPVT 2019 will be as per the 10+2 level intermediary science of CBSE standard. Thus, aspirants are suggested to follow the NCERT books of the following subjects as it covers all the topics related to AIPVT 2019 syllabus. AIPVT 2019 have equal weightage from both the class 11 and class 12 standards.

Important Instructions

The candidates should strictly follow these instructions to avoid any kind of issue hampering the examination:

  • In the matter of allocations of seats/admission of candidate to respective College/Institution the decision of the Counselling Committee shall be final.
  • All disputes regarding the examination and other shall fall within the Jurisdiction of Delhi
  • No oral enquiry is entertained. In case, the candidates have any issue they can contact the authority in writing.

Hello Navya,NO, NEET and AIPVT are not different. From 2017, AIPVT was replaced by the NEET exam. Now, the admission to the veterinary courses will be done on the basis of NEET 2018 score.
