AKNUCET 2019 Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus & Result

AKNUCET 2019 will be held tentatively in the Second week of May, 2019 at 11 different districts in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates having an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% can apply. Also, minimum age required to appear for the exam is 21 years.

  • AKNUCET Application Form will be available online and will begin from the 2nd week of March, 2019. Application fee for the exam is INR 400 for all categories.
  • There are different tests with test codes for the applied course. Test has 100 MCQs to be solved in 90 minutes.
  • Candidates getting the required percentage of marks will be called for the admission process to the university.
  • In case the number of applications received for the exam are less than the number of seats offered then the admission to the course will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

AKNU is responsible to announce the AKNUCET Exam dates along with the information brochure. It is released on the official website. Candidates can find all the detailed information about the exam from the information brochure. AKNUCET Application form and information brochure is expected to be released officially in second week of March 2019. Here is the tentative schedule of the exam:

AKNUCET 2019 Eligibility

AKNUCET 2019 exam conducting body lays down a few ground rules regarding the eligibility of aspiring candidates for AKNUCET 2019. The eligibility criteria are listed below.

  • Candidates who have already obtained their UG degree or are appearing for their final semester exam are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates from other Universities recognized by any state or central government will be considered for admission into the PG Arts and Science courses at AKNU only if they have a three-year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the required minimum percentage of marks by AKNU.
  • Candidates who have got a Bachelor Degree by Distance Education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into P.G. Courses, provided they submit a residence certificate.
  • Bachelor Degree of B. A/ B.Sc./ B. Com/ B.Litt. and B.L from Universities other than those in the state of Andhra Pradesh is acceptable provided they are recognised by Govt.
  • Candidates need a minimum of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) for admission into all Arts, M.Ed. and Science and Engineering Courses. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (Part II) is sufficient.
  • The minimum age required to apply for the exam is 21 years. There is no specified upper age limit.
  • The eligibility criteria are specific for each subject. Given below are the test codes for each subject that one can apply for AKNUCET.

AKNUCET 2019 Application Form

AKNUCET 2019 Application Form will be available online from Second week of March 2019. Correctly fill all the fields during the registration as they cannot be edited later. Also, incomplete forms are subject to rejection.

The application fee for AKNUCET 2019 is INR 400 for all categories. If candidates do not pay the fee within the stipulated time, they will have to pay a late fine of an additional INR 400. The steps for the application process are given below:

  • Visit the official website of AKNUCET 2019 -
  • Find the link to AKNUCET Application form and register yourself as a New user by filling the basic information asked. You will receive a registration number and password after registration.
  • After submission of the details, access and fill the application form will all the required details- personal, academic and communication.
  • Verify the details entered correctly and move to the next step of fee payment
  • Remit the fee of INR 400 + service charges in online mode only- debit card/credit card or net banking.
  • Print the final application form generated after fee payment for future reference.

Candidates will have to enter the following details in AKNUCET Application Form. Keep them ready before filling the form:

  • Name of the course
  • Hall-Ticket Number of Qualifying Examination
  • Percentage of marks and year of Passing of Qualifying Examination, if already complete
  • Date of Birth as per SSC records
  • Caste in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates
  • Category in case of PH/NCC/ NSS/SPORTS /CAP etc
  • Parental Income Up to One lakh or up to Two lakhs or more than Two Lakhs (rupees)
  • Study or Residence (from M.R.O) or relevant certificate for proof of local status

Note: Candidates will be able to submit their complaints regarding the application during a specified and stipulated time period decided by the AKNU. However, any changes whatsoever, including that of a candidate's caste, community status or category, will not be permitted to be made in the filled in application once it is received by the University. AKNU will not entertain any correspondence in this regard.

AKNUCET 2019 Hall Ticket

AKNUCET Hall Ticket will be available from the official website of AKNUCET i.e. It is expected to be available approximately a week before the exam is scheduled. Candidates will have to log in using their application number and download the admit card from the websites mentioned above.

Steps to download admit card:

  • Visit the official website mentioned above and find a link to download Hall ticket
  • Login using your application number/ registration number and password.
  • Submit the details and find AKNUCET Hall Ticket
  • Download and print the hall ticket in case of no errors.

AKNUCET Hall Ticket contains all relevant details like the exam centre, exam centre code, test code, exam time etc for the candidate's reference. Thus, they are advised to take multiple print outs and keep the admit card safe for all future correspondence.

AKNUCET 2019 Exam Centers

Candidates can fill up to 3 choices of AKNUCET Exam centres in their application form. Candidates must also note that if the total number of candidates for a certain test is less than 200, the test will be conducted at Rajamahendravaram centre only.

AKNU allots the exam center which is mentioned in the AKNUCET Hall ticket. There are 11 exam centers across Andhra Pradesh. The list of exam centres are as follows:

AKNUCET 2019 Exam Pattern

AKNUCET 2019 will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to answer all questions asked to them in an OMR sheet. Candidates will only be able to use a blue or a black ball point pen to mark their answers in the OMR sheet. Read more AKNUCET Exam Pattern

  • There will only be multiple choice questions with only one correct answer in the exam.
  • Candidates will be asked a total of 100 Multiple choice questions.
  • The total marks for the same will be 100.
  • The total time for the exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • The questions will be asked in English except for the test on Telugu which will be asked in Telugu.

  • Submit the details and download the score card.

AKNUCET 2019 Admission Process

After the results are declared and the rank of the candidates is determined, the admission process will be conducted based on the rank received by all candidates.

  • The admission schedule will be announced online.
  • Seats will be divided according to the courses, candidates’ category and colleges.
  • The admission fee will differ accordingly.
  • Reservation rules as specified by the government will apply.

At the time of admission, candidates will have to present the following documents in original:

  • AKNUCET 2019 rank card and admit card.
  • UG degree pass certificate. If the candidate is in their final year, they will have to provide a provisional pass certificate.
  • Consolidated mark sheet of UG Degree.
  • Transfer and conduct certificate from the last institution attended by the candidate.
  • Migration certificate, if the candidate has completed their UG degree from any other university.
  • Caste and community certificates, if applicable.
  • Marksheets from class X and XII level.
  • 4 recent passport sized photograph.
