Amity JEE 2021 : 4 answered questions

Ques. How should I prepare for amity jee?

● Top Answer By Yashmeet Grover on 12 Feb 21

Ans. Most reviewers consider Amity JEE as a “drama” of the university, which needs no special preparation and is easy to crack. The problem lies with the fact that most of these people haven’t experienced Amity or ever got associated with the university. The table below gives a brief overview of the pattern of Amity JEE for the recent and upcoming sessions. Sections Number of Questions (4 marks each, 1 marks negative for the wrong answer) Mathematics/ Biology 25 Physics 25 Chemistry 25 General English 15 Total 90 Some tips to crack Amity JEE with a decent score: The science part is usually covered by most candidates in preparation for other entrance exams themselves. But, the general English and personal interview part should not be ignored, and needs some preparation along with it. The difficulty level of the exam is relatively easier than most other private entrances, but it is not too easy to be considered as nothing. Less than 25% of overall applications are accepted every year, which makes the scenario of competition evident to candidates. This is the overall structure and preparation tips one can follow for Amity JEE. The official sources provide the most trustworthy information related to all matters.Read more

Ques. Will I get admission to Amity even if I have not cleared the Amity JEE?

● Top Answer By Megha Rohilla on 12 Feb 21

Ans. Before entering into the college, the first task of a candidate is to have a clear idea about the minimum criteria and cut-offs for the specific department he/she is looking up to. There are a few points of reviews about admission to Amity University which are listed below. According to some internal students, they are still unaware of their score in Amity JEE. The university just confirms the candidate that he/she is selected in the department. Except for B.Tech students, admission to other departments is pretty easy. For B. Tech aspirants, the admission mode is somewhat serious. Even without Amity JEE, a good score in JEE Main is also enough for admission to Amity University. Other than that, management quota provides the opportunity of getting a seat almost without any entrance. These are some of the key factors that make it evident that admission in Amity is also possible without clearing Amity JEE.Read more

Ques. What types of questions can I expect for the Amity JEE and their interview if I opt for mechanical?

● Top Answer By Yatika Mehla on 12 Feb 21

Ans. The common entrance test for engineering in Amity has a pattern of four sections of objective type questions (Multiple Choice). All the sections are compulsory. The table below gives the division of questions into four sections. Sections Number of Questions General English 15 Physics 25 Chemistry 25 Mathematics/ Biology 25 Total 90 Key Highlights: Section 4 has both Mathematics and Biology questions. Students need to attempt either of the two according to the stream they are choosing. For a total of 90 questions, a maximum time limit of 120 minutes is provided. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded. For every wrong answer, there is a 1 mark deduction (negative marking). If the candidate selects more than one choice, no marks will be awarded. Dividing the total time with the total number of questions, 1.25 minutes is the average available time for solving each problem. There are sample papers available on the website of the institute itself, which provides a brief idea about the level of difficulty of the exam. In the interviews, they ask questions related to the subject or course taken. Along with those, candidates are asked questions about their expectations from the university and the course, career goals, General family details, etc. So, being confident in the interviews and answering in a positive manner is enough for getting a seat in the university. The above-mentioned highlights should provide a brief idea about the exam pattern, syllabus, and practice methods for cracking the entrance with a decent score.Read more

Ques. Which exam is easier, the LPU NEST or the Amity JEE?

● Top Answer By Mousumi Chatterjee on 14 Jan 21

Ans. Between these two, LPU NEST is relatively easier than Amity JEE, although the syllabus of these two entrance exams is almost similar. Both of these exams are conducted online, and are convenient for the student to take part from anywhere. Following considerations will be helpful to comprehend why LPU NEST is more comfortable than the other one. LPU NEST This exam does not have any negative marking; thereby, the students cannot lose marks for their wrong answers. Besides, after cracking this test, the student will get the opportunity to select their subjects from various streams, including Engineering and Management, Agriculture, Commerce, etc. offered by this institute. The scholarship is attached to this test. The meritorious students get the scholarship facilities as per their scores in the LPU NEST exams. Amity JEE It has negative marking, and one mark is deducted for every four wrong answers. While Amity JEE is only for getting admission in Engineering subjects at Amity University and not for other subjects. The scholarship is not attached to this test, so the programs in this institute are mostly self-paced. The syllabus is almost similar to both of these tests, as mentioned earlier, and it follows the basic concept of the subject that the student has learned in his or her previous qualification. The important thing is that LPU NEST does not have the negative marking and the students get scholarships, as per their merit list; hence, it is easier to crack.Read more
