    Assam PAT (Assam Polytechnic) is a state level entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Assam once in a year. It is conducted for the candidates seeking admission in Diploma Courses in various polytechnic institutes of Assam.

    • The type of question paper is objective as well as subjective type.
    • The question paper of Assam PAT 2020 is based on HSLC level.
    • Candidates have to complete 100 questions in two hours
    • Candidates applying for office management have to give a separate paper of General Knowledge and English.
    • The duration of exam is 3 hours and the type of question paper is objective as well as subjective.
    • Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct response.
    • There is no negative marking for incorrect response and unattempt questions.
    • The question paper will appear in English and Hindi Language.

    Assam PAT 2020 Exam pattern

    Assam PAT examination is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper-based. The question paper will be available in two languages i.e. English as well as Hindi. Candidates have to attempt 100 question in a duration of 2 hours. Assam PAT 2020 is conducted for 100 marks. Each question carries same marks. The level of the question paper is based on HSLC level.

    • Assam PAT exam check the candidates knowledge on Mathematics, Science, General Knowledge, English etc.
    • The question paper will be based on General Knowledge and English.
    • Candidates will have to complete both objectives as well as subjective question in 3 hours.

    Assam PAT 2020 Marking scheme

    • Candidates will get 1 mark for every single correct response.
    • There is no provision of negative marking. Candidates will not lose any marks for the incorrect response.
    • There is no deduction in marks for unattempt question.
    • Candidates can left question as per their choice, no marks will be deducted.

    Assam PAT 2020 Important instructions

    Given below are the important instruction for Assam PAT 2020 candidates should read to avoid unknown mistake:

    • Candidate should reach the exam center 1 hour prior than the commencement of exam
    • Candidates must not forget Admit Card on the day of exam, it is gateway to the examination hall.
    • No electronic item is allowed in the examination hall which is considered as the subject of cheating.
    • No extra rough sheet is allowed in the examination hall. Margin will be given to do rough work in the test booklet.
    • Do not open the test booklet without permission
    • Fill the required details in the answer sheet. The result may not be evaluated if the details are not entered or entered correctly.
    • It is not allowed to clarify doubts on any item in test booklet from the invigilator.
    • Answer should be marked properly by darkening the circle in the OMR sheet.
    • Candidates should carefully listen to the instruction given by the invigilator.

    Failure to follow instruction written in the examination will lead to disqualification.
